The Oregon Office of Emergency
Management (OEM) provides several grant opportunities to local and tribal
governments to assist in preparedness and mitigation activities.
The Emergency Management Performance
Grant (EMPG) Program makes grants from the Federal government available to
state, local and tribal governments to assist in preparing for all hazards.
The Hazard Mitigation Assistance (HMA)
grant program provides funds from the Federal government to assist in hazard
mitigation planning, projects, and other activities to reduce the vulnerability
of our communities to hazards.
The Homeland Security Grant Program
(HSGP) is a primary funding source from the Federal government for building and
sustaining national preparedness programs. This grant program funds activities
in planning, organization, equipment purchasing, training and exercises.
The Fuel Storage Facility Compatibility
Fund Grant program provides funds to public and private fueling stations
licensed under Oregon Revised Statute, Chapter 480.350. The program funds the
installation of emergency generator connectors at fuel facilities that use card
lock technology.
