  • Ag Water Quality Program Advisory CommitteeSince 2004, the Agricultural Water Quality Program Advisory Committee has met at least annually to review program implementation and advise the state on future direction. The committee includes representatives of a variety of organizations and agencies, including the Oregon Association of Conservation Districts, Oregon Farm Bureau, Oregon Environmental Council, Association of Oregon Counties, Association of Clean Water Agencies, Oregon Wheat League, Freshwater Trust, Department of Environmental Quality, and Oregon Cattlemen's Association.   • CAFO Advisory CommitteeThe CAFO Advisory Committee was created to provide feedback to the department about the CAFO Program. The committee has a variety of representatives including: permitted CAFO operators, technical advisors, stakeholder representatives, and the public.   • Oregon Soil and Water Conservation CommissionThe function of the commission is to advise and develop policy with the department in the administration of its duties. To assist with this advisory role, the chair of the commission, by statute, is also a member of the State Board of Agriculture. The commission also has a major role in overseeing the grant programs to districts, including the technical assistance and administrative assistive funds.  Meeting information

  • Oregon State Weed BoardThe seven-member board broadly representative of weed control interests in the state and has an appropriation to assist counties in special projects and to help support biological control work. The board and the ODA weed staff confer in setting statewide priorities for funding of projects. The board also develops and maintains the State Noxious Weed List.
