North Coast Airports

Oregon's coastal state airports offer unique access to the state's picturesque shoreline. These airports primarily serve recreational aviation, providing pilots with stunning views and convenient access to coastal communities, beaches, and outdoor activities.

Nehalem Bay State Airport (3S7) provides direct fly-in access to camping and beaches, supporting both recreation and emergency services. Pacific City State Airport (PFC) is renowned for its scenic views, particularly of Haystack Rock, and serves as a vital community access point. Siletz Bay State Airport (S45) caters to recreational pilots seeking coastal access. Toledo State Airport (5S4) supports general aviation and regional connectivity. Lastly, Wakonda Beach State Airport (R33), located three miles south of the community of Waldport, provides geographic coverage and access to the community of Waldport.

These airports are crucial for tourism and offer alternative transportation options in areas where ground travel can be limited.
