Job Description

Commercial Building Energy Analysts evaluate commercial buildings for energy efficiency and offer solutions to optimize performance. This trade uses problem-solving skills and mathematical equations to create energy evaluation reports and provide building controls solutions to identified operational problems.

Working Conditions

Commercial Building Energy Analyst use computer software and technical instruments to measure and troubleshoot energy efficiency of buildings. This trade relies heavily on computer modeling and data entry. The work requires standing, bending, crawling, lifting, climbing, pulling, and reaching and working in cramped spaces or on ladders and scaffolding
