Select from the following scenarios:
Renewing your active Principal Broker license for the first time
Take the following from
Certified Continuing Education Providers
before your first renewal of your active principal broker license:
3-hour Law and Rule Required Course.
If you are renewing an active license on or after 7/1/2022, this course must contain a Fair Housing component.
27-hour Principal Broker Advanced Practices Course.
Enter continuing education course information into
eLicense
by the license expiration date.
Renew your license
in eLicense.
Keep your certificates of attendance
for 3 years.
Renewing your active license after the first renewal of your Principal Broker license
Take the following from
Certified Continuing Education Providers
within 2 years before renewal:
3-hour Law and Rule Required Course (LARRC).
If you are renewing an active license on or after 7/1/2022, this course must contain a Fair Housing component.
A minimum of 27 additional hours of continuing education in required topics.

Keep your certificates of attendance
for 3 years.
Renewing an inactive license
You don't need continuing education. Before you can activate your license you must meet the applicable continuing education requirements.
Reactivating an inactive license
Take the following from
Certified Continuing Education Providers
within 2 years before reactivation:
3-hour Law and Rule Required Course (LARRC).
If you are reactivating a license on or after 7/1/2022, this course must contain a Fair Housing component.
A minimum of 27 additional hours of continuing education in required topics.
If you are reactivating your license for the first time after an inactive first renewal
, you must take the 27-hour Principal Broker Advanced Practices (PBAP) course.
Reactivate your license
in eLicense.
Keep your certificates of attendance
for 3 years.
