Licensing

Due to the current outbreak of COVID-19, the Oregon Real Estate Agency will give licensees who actively renew in June a 30-day extension to meet their continuing education requirement. Licensees who choose this option during the online renewal process in eLicense must still renew and pay the active renewal fee of $300 by June 30, but they do not have to submit their continuing education records until July 31.

You can renew your license in eLicense starting the first day of the month your license expires in.

The Agency will email a license renewal reminder to you. This email is a courtesy. You are responsible for renewing your license on time even if you do not receive an email.

Select from the following renewal options:

  • Log into eLicense.
  • No continuing education is required.
  • Pay the $150 fee.
  • Receipt is emailed after transaction is complete.

Please note: You cannot conduct professional real estate activity while your license is inactive.

If you fail to renew your license before the license expiration date, you have one year to renew your license late.
