The Oregon Real Estate Agency, based on advice from the Oregon Real Estate Board, has updated the sample Initial Agency Disclosure Pamphlet to include language about how to file a fair housing complaint. The new samples are available for immediate use on OREA’s website.
This new element is optional. Existing pamphlets that comply with Oregon Administrative Rule 863-015-0215 remain compliant, and licensees may continue using them. The Agency may go through the rulemaking process, which includes a public comment period, to make this a required element in the future. If that occurs, licensees will be notified with adequate time to update their materials.
