A public records request is a way for people to get information that a government agency keeps. To request a record from an Oregon state agency, commission, or program, you can go to that agency’s public records webpage in the list below and ask for it directly. Oregon passed SB 515 in 2015, which requires agencies to share information on how to request public records, including a link to the Department of Justice’s public records page.
