OSB Meeting in Gladstone - Jan 2010
The meeting started with the beautiful voices of the Gladstone choir. Board members listen to teachers talk about their innovative classes. The Gladstone culinary program provided delicious meals. After lunch, board members toured the amazing applied science lab.

Bob Stewart, Gladstone SD Superintendent, talks about the program. Everyone was impressed w/the hands-on curriculum in the lab. These students proudly show their robot, but ponder what it will do. They constructed bioswales during the HS renovation in 2009.

The renovation earned LEED Platinum for items such as the downspouts. After the HS, board members toured the Center for Children & Families. The renovated grocery store features a light and bright lobby. The Center houses Head Start, public kindergarten, and other programs.
