GED TUTORING PROGRAM
Trained inmate tutors are available for individual and group instruction to assist inmates in completing GED components.
 
COMPUTER LAB Provides computer system resources for Keyboarding, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Career Information System and Jobworks instruction.
 
TURNING POINT RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT PROGRAM
A 6-15 month program in a therapeutic community providing education, group therapy and individual counseling. Mandatory for all inmates diagnosed with serious drug and/or alcohol issues.
 
BRIDGEPOINT TREATMENT PROGRAM
A 6-12 month treatment program addressing alcohol/drug treatment in combination with mental health issues.
 
AFRICAN-AMERICAN PROGRAM
A transition program for African-American males and their families. This program is a collaborative effort between CRCI and Multnomah County Adult Community Justice which provides group counseling by the Parole Officers who will supervise the inmates upon release. The program emphasizes family re-integration, dealing with transition barriers and taking responsibility.
 
“GOING HOME” STG TRANSITION PROGRAM
A federally funded transition program providing specialized transition programming for gang members utilizing a multidisciplinary team approach. This program focuses on pre-employment assistance, cognitive re-structuring and family intervention.
 
GENERAL POPULATION (MENTAL HEALTH) RE-ENTRY
A specialized 7-week program introducing inmates to available community resources including crisis intervention and medication management.
 
PARENTING INSIDE-OUT
A specialized parenting program developed by the Oregon Social Learning Center designed to support and enhance inmate parenting skills.
 
“IT’S A PARENT TO ME”
This class explores the impact of parenting on children and ways individuals can “re-parent” themselves.
 
COGNITIVE CHANGE/BREAKING BARRIERS
Programs dealing with strategies for addressing thinking errors and faulty belief systems and behavior patterns.
 
PATHFINDERS
A 13-week program exploring barriers to successful transition and the development of appropriate life skills.
 
GETTING OUT AND STAYING OUT
A transition program focusing on problem solving and identifying inappropriate behavior patterns leading to failure after release.
 
NON-CASH INCENTIVE PROGRAM
Designed to provide non-monetary benefits for inmates who meet specific criteria relating to behavior history and program compliance.
 
PRE-RELEASE RESOURCE EDUCATION
Mandatory classroom instruction for all inmates with less than 90-days to release offering a variety of community resource information.
        
PRE-RELEASE REACH-IN AND ORIENTATION SERVICES
Mandatory orientation briefing for all inmate with less than 6-month to release provided by CRCI release counselors and community parole officers.
