Superintendent Don Mills
Mr. Don Mills became Two River's Correctional Institution's third Superintendent on August 4, 2008. He had previously served as Superintendent of Eastern Oregon Correctional Institution since December 2006, following three years as the Assistant Superintendent of Security there.
Mr. Mills originally came into corrections following two tours of duty in Vietnam. In 1969 he joined the Marion County Jail staff in Salem. He went on to work as a patrol officer in 1970 for the city of Turner and in 1973 became chief of police for Aumsville. In 1976 Mr. Mills became a correctional officer at Oregon State Penitentiary. Except for two-years as a Washington Public Power Supply investigator, he has remained with the DOC, promoting through the correctional ranks.
