RELOCATION NOTICE: The Bend DMV opened on Monday, April 29, 2013 in a temporary new location.
 
ATM LogoPAYMENT NOTICE:  Due to the added costs of merchant fees, DMV offices only accept cash or checks and do not accept credit or debit cards; however, this office does offer an ATM in the lobby for your convenience.  
 
PARKING NOTICE: Difficult or no parking for oversize vehicles or vehicle combinations. 

CLOSURE NOTICE: This office is closed on Wednesdays from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM for weekly staff meetings. 
 
CLOSURE NOTICE: Due to statewide cost saving measures, all DMV facilities will be closed on the following days: 9/16/11, 11/25/11, 3/23/12, 5/25/12, 8/17/12, 10/19/12, 11/23/12, 1/18/13, 4/19/13, 5/24/13.

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday and Tuesday
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Wednesday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Thursday and Friday

Knowledge Test Hours
Your customer number must be called by 4:00 PM to take a test that day.
 
Note: No one is allowed to accompany a customer into the testing area while a knowledge test is being taken except for interpreters.
 
Drive Tests
Drive tests are given by appointment only. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call (541) 388-6322.
 
Note: If there is inclement weather, drive tests may be cancelled or traction devices may be required. Please check the Special Notices or confirm your drive test by calling the office.

  • From N Parkway (US-97) take exit 135B to Empire Blvd (toward state offices).
  • Turn LEFT (West) onto Empire.
  • Turn LEFT (South) onto 3rd St (at the signal) and follow it to the state offices.
  • Turn RIGHT (West) on Mervin Samples Rd.
  • Turn LEFT on O.B. Riley Rd.
  • The DMV office is located on the LEFT.
Going South (from Sisters):
  • From Southbound US-20, continue and merge onto 3rd St.
  • Turn RIGHT (West) on Mervin Samples Rd.
  • Turn LEFT on O.B. Riley Rd.
  • The DMV office is located on the LEFT.
Going South (from Redmond):
  • From Southbound US-97, continue past Cascade Village Mall.
  • Stay in the RIGHT lane to US-97 Business (Exit 135A).
  • Continue on US-97 Business which merges with US-20.
  • US-20 continues and merges with 3rd St.
  • Turn RIGHT (West) on Mervin Samples Rd.
  • Turn LEFT on O.B. Riley Rd.
  • The DMV office is located on the LEFT.
