Read Me... IMPORTANT!   

 

 

1) The four required orientation courses below (a-d), must be completed

     through the DHS Training site. A printed transcript from this site and

     required fee must accompany the application.

 

a. Course #C00865: Juvenile Code: Corrections, Chapter 409 and

    Standards for Health Interpreters, Chapter 333-002,

 

b. Course #C00945: National Standards of Practice for Interpreters in

    Health Care,

 

c. Course #C01151: Standards for Registry enrollment, Qualification and

    Certification of Health Care Interpreters, and

 

d. Course #C01152: Understanding/Review of the "National Code of Ethics 

    for Interpreters in Health Care and accept the responsibility of abiding by

    the guidelines and principles as described therein".

    Once these courses have been completed you will be able to print the

    transcript. Sample of "student transcript". 

 

    Online Orientation Session: https://dhslearn.hr.state.or.us. In the DHS

    Training site, you will be asked to provide a login ID and Password, after which

    you will need to complete your profile. Once your profile is done, you can log in at

    any time to do the orientation.

 

2) Download and complete the enrollment application, then submit it with the

    $25.00 fee and your orientation transcript for registry enrollment as a Health

    Care Interpreter.

*  Applicants may withdraw from the process at any time by submitting a written
