Board Membership Criteria
To be considered for board membership, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a current full-time state employee
- Understand that:
- Board members are volunteers
- Working on board tasks and deliverables is optional
- At least 50% attendance at the monthly board meetings is required
- Understand that board events include:
- One-hour long monthly board meetings
- Two, 3-hour long, in-person meetings per year
- Events related to the work of the board
- Meetings with local project management partners
- Working sessions related to board initiatives and scheduled outside of the monthly board meetings
- Be in one of the following job classifications, or in a classification where project management is 50% or more of your job duties:
- Project Manager 1, 2, or 3
- Operations Policy Analyst 3 or 4
- Information Systems Specialist 5, 6, 7, or 8
- Other Job Classification with Project Management Responsibilities
- Have approval from your manager to participate and be able to produce the approval (e.g., email).
