To help provide a safe, secure and reliable browsing experience, Oregon.gov websites support current versions of the most widely used web browsers.
As of July 14, 2026, Oregon.gov websites support the following web browser versions:
| Browser |
Minimum version |
Recommended version |
|---|---|---|
| Google Chrome | 148 | 150+ |
| Apple Safari | 18 | 26+ |
| Microsoft Edge | 148 | 150+ |
| Mozilla Firefox | 140 | 152+ |
Recommended versions represent the current stable browser versions available when this page was last reviewed. Minimum versions represent older browser releases included in Oregon.gov's supported testing range.
Browser preview, beta, developer and other prerelease versions are not officially supported. Other modern browsers may work with Oregon.gov websites but are not included in our standard browser testing.
Browser support may also depend on whether the device's operating system is still supported by its manufacturer.
How to update your web browser
Out-of-date browsers can cause security, accessibility and usability issues.
Some web browsers update automatically when a new version is available. Others may require a manual update or an update to the device’s operating system. The following resources explain how to update a supported browser:
