Volunteering in Oregon: Help Your Community During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Every Oregonian can safely help their community during these difficult times. Oregon Volunteers is pleased to share ways you can make a difference.

Volunteers are needed!

See below for resources to connect to the volunteer needs in your community. Many of these can be done virtually. In-person volunteer opportunities still have to abide by EO 20-12 and ensure safety and social distancing. It's for your safety! See resources to the right for more information.

Also read the list of opportunities shared by the Oregon Governor’s Office here on more ways you can help with the response to the coronavirus and COVID-19 in Oregon.

Stay Home as Much as Possible, and Follow Public Health Guidelines from the Oregon Health Authority

Remember that staying home, and keeping six feet between you and other people when you do need to go out, is the best way to show your support for your fellow Oregonians. Staying at home will save lives. Please review all public health guidelines, which are available in multiple languages on the OHA website. See resources to the right for more information.

Register with Statewide and Local Volunteer and Donation Databases

Volunteering opportunities are available in communities all across Oregon. Volunteer databases provide a way for volunteers to search opportunities and offer to donate resources. Community organizations and agencies use these databases to ask for volunteer assistance and donations. Connect to a need by registering with one of the databases below.
