The Heart of a Volunteer
Our honored guests at the OVHTD love to have visitors. Whether it’s to sit with them during dinner, go on a walk on the campus, or play an intense game of checkers in the Veterans’ Community Center, there are many ways our visitors help support that feeling of gratitude we promote with our veteran residents. You may know someone in the Home, or just want to share some time with one of our honored guests, you will be richly rewarded during the visit.
Our residents love pets, so if you have a cat or dog and want to bring it in for a visit, please do! We do request that all pets are kept on a leash and a record of current shots be provided if requested.
