We are proud that Oregon State Board of Nursing has been officially recognized as a 2026 Wellbeing First Champion. This designation confirms that our licensing applications are free from intrusive, stigmatizing mental health questions.
Why this matters: We know that fear of
professional repercussions is a primary barrier to seeking help. We want to be crystal clear: You can seek mental health care without fear of losing your nursing license in Oregon. You deserve the right to pursue care confidentially. By removing these stigmatizing questions, we are taking action to ensure our administrative processes support, rather than hinder, your wellbeing.
