The Board of Nursing meets 12 times a year and takes disciplinary actions during each meeting.  Listed below are the meetings held for the past year.  The status and any disciplinary documents for individual nurses or nursing assistants licensed in Oregon are available on the OSBN Verification System.

Multnomah County
  • The Board placed the registered nurse license of Derek D. Smith (201900412RN) on probation for 24 months for using intoxicants to the extent injurious to himself or others.  He resides in Portland, Ore. 
Lane County
  • The Board imposed a $500 civil penalty against the nursing assistant certificate of Brandon P. Stinnett (201111868CNA) for violating a person's rights of privacy and confidentiality.  He resides in Eugene, Oregon. 
Out of State
  • California—The Board reprimanded the registered nurse license of Robert J. Driscoll (200540603RN) for failing to accurately document nursing interventions and failing to conform to the essential standards of acceptable nursing practice.  He resides in Shafter, Calif.
  • Washington—The Board reinstated the registered nurse license of Elizabeth S. Feustel (201704588RN) and placed it on probation for 20 months for previously using intoxicants to the extent injurious to herself or others and practicing nursing while impaired.  She resides in Vancouver, Wash.
  • Washington—The Board accepted the voluntary withdrawal of Janae N. McDaniel's RN (201140455RN) and NP applications due to a conviction of a crime that bears demonstrable relationship to nursing.

  • The Board accepted the Voluntary Surrender of Beverly K. Thigpin's practical nurse license (200330400LPN) for failing to conform to the essential standards of acceptable nursing practice.  She resides in Rogue River, Ore.
Marion County
  • The Board placed the registered nurse license of Robin L. Will (087003146RN) on probation for 12 months for failing to accurately document nursing interventions and failing to conform to the essential standards of acceptable nursing practice.  She resides in Silverton, Ore.
Multnomah County
  • The Board suspended the nursing assistant certificate of Sarah K. Amani (202207526CNA) for 90 days for demonstrated incidents of reckless behavior and engaging in abusive behavior towards a coworker.  She resides in Portland, Ore.
  • The Board reprimanded the registered nurse license of Randal S. Ralston (200842170RN) for failing to conform to the essential standards of acceptable nursing practice.  He resides in Portland, Ore.

  • Connecticut—The Board imposed a $2,000 civil penalty and reprimanded the registered nurse license of Karizma M. Colon (10007784) for engaging in unsecured transmission of protected client data and violating the client's rights of privacy and confidentiality.  She resides in Ansonia, Conn.
  • Maine—The Board suspended the nursing assistant certificate of Marcelline A. Wilson (202200757CNA) for at least 14 days for failing to cooperate with the Board during an investigation.  She resides in Caribou, Maine.

  • The Board imposed a $3,500 civil penalty against the registered nurse license of Denise Damian Torj (200741579RN) for failing to keep her legal name on file with the Board at all times.  She resides in Milwuakie, Ore.
Douglas County
  • The Board placed the registered nurse license of Codey W. Fields (202106836RN) on probation for 24 months for the unauthorized removal of medications from the workplace.  He resides in Roseburg, Ore.

Coos County

Josephine County
  • The Board reprimanded the nursing assistant certificate of Christelle Mengue (10003875) for failing to maintain professional boundaries.  She resides in Grants Pass, Ore.
Lane County
  • The Board placed the registered nurse license of Alexa A. Benson (202102011RN) on probation for six months for failing to accurately document nursing interventions and practice implementation.  She resides in Veneta, Ore.
  • The Board imposed a $1,900 civil penalty against the practice nurse license of Erin L. Bressert (201130281LPN) for practicing nursing without a current license.  She resides in Junction City, Oregon.
