From January 2011 through 2024 (the most recent year for which PSRB recidivism figures are available), 37 of the 1,285 PSRB clients living in the community on conditional release were convicted of new felonies or misdemeanors. The Board's cumulative recidivism rate for the same period was 0.59 percent. By comparison, the most recent comparable recidivism rate for individuals on Parole, Post-Prison Supervision, or Probation is 36% after being on parole or probation for three years (Criminal Justice Commission, 2025).
As of January 1, 2025:

- Number of people under PSRB jurisdiction who are on conditional release from the state hospital: 345
- Cumulative annual recidivism rate for GEI clients since 2011: 0.59%.
- Percent of adult conditional releases maintained in the community per month in 2024: 99.5%.
