OHP Information for Clients

 

This page contains information about Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid) benefits, premiums, locally available managed care plans and other details. You will also find where to ask questions or lodge a complaint about OHP services. 

If you have questions about how to receive OHP services, refer to your OHP Client Handbook first, then your OHP managed care plan. If you still need help, then call OHP Client Services at 800-273-0557.

About your benefits 

Service delivery 

  • Managed care – Clients enrolled in an OHP managed care plan should contact the plan for specific questions about how to receive services. This page provides contact information for the plans that serve OHP clients.
  • Fee-for-Service – Clients not enrolled in managed care can see any provider who will accept their Medical ID.
  • Safety net clinics – Community-based providers who offer health services to low-income people, including those without insurance.
  • Rural Health Clinics – These clinics increase primary care services for Medicaid and Medicare patients in rural communities.

When you need help 

When you need help, contact your OHP managed care plan first. If you are a fee-for-service (“open card”) client or you still need help after contacting your plan, you can call OHP Client Services at 800-273-0557.

Premium information 

  • Most OHP Standard clients pay a monthly premium to remain enrolled in OHP. The OHP Premium Office handles premium billing and processes premium payments for these clients.
  • Frequently asked questions about premiums 

Copayment information 

OHP Plus and OHP Plus with Limited Drug clients must pay copayments for certain services. For more information, see the Frequently asked questions about copayments.
