ATM availablePAYMENT NOTICE: Due to the added costs of merchant fees, DMV offices only accept cash or checks and do not accept credit or debit cards; however, this office does offer an ATM in the lobby for your convenience. 
 
SCHEDULE NOTICE: This office is closed for a mid-day lunch period (refer to the Hours of Operation section below for more details).

CLOSURE NOTICE: Due to statewide cost saving measures, all DMV facilities will be closed on the following days: 9/16/11, 11/25/11, 3/23/12, 5/25/12, 8/17/12, 10/19/12, 11/23/12, 1/18/13, 4/19/13, 5/24/13.

9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
(Closed for Lunch: Noon - 1:30 PM) 
 
Note: This facility may be closed temporarily at other times when business, illness or training requires the limited staff to be away from the office.

Knowledge Test Hours
Your customer number must be called by 11:00 AM to take a test prior to lunch or by 4:00 PM to take a test before the office closes.
 
Note: No one is allowed to accompany a customer into the testing area while a knowledge test is being taken except for interpreters.

Drive Tests
Drive tests are given by appointment only. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call (541) 573-6019.
 
Note: If there is inclement weather, drive tests may be cancelled or traction devices may be required. Please check the Special Notices or confirm your drive test by calling the office.

Going East/West (OR-78)
  • From East or Westbound Monroe St (OR-78), turn South on Date Ave (look for the State Office sign).
  • Continue South on Date Ave past Jackson St.
  • Look for the DMV office on the Right-hand side of Date Ave.
  • Using street names in this area can be confusing because Carne Blvd off of Monroe St branches off at a hard left and the road becomes Date Ave if you simply continue straight (see the map provided in the section below for more information).
Going North/South (OR-20, OR-395)
  • From North or Southbound Broadway Ave (OR-20, OR-395), turn East on Monroe St (OR-78).
  • Continue East on Monroe St past the Harney County Senior Center and the Chevron Bulk Plant to the State Office sign and then turn RIGHT (South) on Date Ave.
  • Continue South on Date Ave past Jackson St.
  • Look for the DMV office on the Right-hand side of Date Ave.
  • Using street names in this area can be confusing because Carne Blvd off of Monroe St branches off at a hard left and the road becomes Date Ave if you simply continue straight (see the map provided in the section below for more information).
Going North/South (OR-205)
  • From North or Southbound Fry Rd/Frenchglen Hwy (OR-205), turn West on Monroe St (OR-78).
  • Continue West on Monroe St past Elm Ave and then turn LEFT (South) on Date Ave (look for the State Office sign).
  • Continue South on Date Ave past Jackson St.
  • Look for the DMV office on the Right-hand side of Date Ave.
  • Using street names in this area can be confusing because Carne Blvd off of Monroe St branches off at a hard left and the road becomes Date Ave if you simply continue straight (see the map provided in the section below for more information).
