ATM availablePAYMENT NOTICE: Due to the added costs of merchant fees, DMV offices only accept cash or checks and do not accept credit or debit cards; however, this office does offer an ATM in the lobby for your convenience.
 
SCHEDULE NOTICE: This office is in the Mountain Time Zone.
 
CLOSURE NOTICE: This office is closed on Wednesdays from 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM for weekly staff meetings.

Knowledge Test Hours
Your customer number must be called by 4:00 PM in order to take a test that day.
 
Note: No one is allowed to accompany a customer into the testing area while a knowledge test is being taken except for interpreters.

Drive Tests
Drive tests are given by appointment only. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call (541) 889-8712.

Note: If there is inclement weather, drive tests may be cancelled or traction devices may be required. Please check the Special Notices or confirm your drive test by calling the office.

Going East
  • From Eastbound I-84 (actually heading South at this stretch), take the East Idaho Ave (OR-30) exit (Exit 376A).
  • At the end of the off-ramp, turn RIGHT (West) on Idaho Ave.
  • Continue West on Idaho Ave (OR-30) for about 10 blocks.
  • Turn LEFT (South) on 2nd St (the 2nd stop light after the Railroad underpass).
  • Continue South on 2nd St for 4 blocks.
  • Turn RIGHT (West) on 4th Ave, aka Olds Ferry Ontario Hwy (OR-201). 
  • Continue West on 4th Ave for approximately 2 miles (past the Holy Rosary Medical Center on the right).
  • Look for West Park Plaza on the Left-hand side of 4th Ave.
  • Just after West Park Plaza, turn LEFT (South) on Sunset Dr (after McDonalds).
  • Continue South on Sunset Dr for about 3 blocks.
  • DMV is located on the Left-hand side of Sunset Dr, just past the parking lot for Lifeways.
Going West
  • From Westbound I-84 (actually heading North at this stretch), take the East Idaho Ave (OR-30) exit (Exit 376B).
  • At the end of the off-ramp, turn LEFT (West) on Idaho Ave and cross over the freeway.
  • Continue West on Idaho Ave (OR-30) for about 10 blocks.
  • Turn LEFT (South) on 2nd St (the 2nd stop light after the Railroad underpass).
  • Continue South on 2nd St for 4 blocks.
  • Turn RIGHT (West) on 4th Ave, aka Olds Ferry Ontario Hwy (OR-201).

  • Continue North on 30th St.
  • Turn RIGHT (East) on 4th Ave.
  • Continue East on 4th Ave past 19th St.
  • Turn RIGHT (South) on Sunset Dr, just before the West Park Plaza.
  • Continue South on Sunset Dr for about 3 blocks.
  • DMV is located on the Left-hand side of Sunset Dr, just past the parking lot for Lifeways.
