Work continues on Murphy Road and 3rd Street - updated September 16
Note: The following schedule is dependent on weather conditions.
Murphy Road (old alignment)
The old Murphy Road alignment is closed just east of the Arco gas station. Local residents past the closure will still be able to access their homes during construction.
Murphy Road (new alignment)
Work continues on tying in the new Murphy Road alignment to the existing alignment at Parrell Road. The new alignment of Murphy Road is scheduled to open the second week of October.
3rd Street entrance into Albertson’s/Sharis shopping plaza
Construction on the west side of 3rd Street is in full swing. Access to the shopping plaza will be maintained but controlled by flaggers. Curbing is scheduled to be poured the week of September 15 and the street paved the week of September 22 with striping to follow. The plan is to complete 3rd Street and have it open the evening of September 28.
The opening of the new northbound off-ramp to 3rd Street from US 97 and the new southbound on-ramp to US 97 from 3rd Street is planned for mid-November.
