    Providing services for over 100 years, the Oregon State Library is located in a beautiful building built in 1939 to serve the citizens of Oregon. The mission of the State Library is to provide quality information services to Oregon state government; provide reading materials to blind and print-disabled Oregonians; and to provide leadership, grants, and other assistance to improve library service for all Oregonians.

Due to state budget cuts, the Oregon State Library will be closed on Friday, May 24, 2013. The office will re-open on Tuesday, May 28th following the Memorial Day holiday. Thank you for your patience.
