The Juvenile Detention Education Program (JDEP) funded by the Oregon Department of Education provides educational and re-entry transitional services to students housed overnight in county juvenile detention facilities. In 2023-24, there were 11 JDEP schools in Oregon. Academic credits earned in JDEP by the students must be accepted by other school districts and charter schools.
