Medicaid EHR Incentive Program

Oregon’s Medicaid EHR Incentive Program offers eligible providers and hospitals financial incentives to adopt, implement or upgrade to certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) technology and become meaningful users of the EHR technology. EHRs can help improve the quality and coordination of care across settings and provide patients with immediate access to their complete and secure health records.

Program Year 2017 Webinar
The webinar will cover the requirements for submitting a 2017 Medicaid EHR Incentive Program attestation, changes to Meaningful Use Modified Stage 2 and Stage 3 objectives, CMS Final Rule Changes, and a review of program documentation requirements. A 30-minute question and answer session will follow the webinar.

Quick Answers
How do I know if I'm an eligible provider? If you're a provider and less than 90% of your services are provided in a hospital, then you are not considered hospital based and may qualify for the program. See the Provider Eligibility page for more information.
How much will I get? This depends on whether you'll be applying as an individual Provider or for a Hospital. You can visit these pages to learn about incentive amounts for each.
What EHR systems are there? There are many systems – we can help you find the right one for your hospital or clinic and guide you on how to get it certified.

Program Year 2017
Program Year 2017 will open for attestations in mid-November. MAPIR is currently being updated to reflect CMS Final Rule changes. Check back for updates.
