OregonHealth Reform in Oregon

Oregon's health system transformation efforts are overseen by the Oregon Health Policy Board.

OregonMedicaid Electronic Health Records (EHR) Incentive Program

Oregon hospitals and eligible health care providers can apply for federal grants to help them implement and use electronic health records. The goal of the grants is to help providers and hospitals move to secure electronic records, allowing better coordination of care for all.

OregonOregon's Regional Extension Center (OCHIN O-HITEC)

OCHIN O-HITEC is the Regional Extension Center for Oregon, supports medical providers in the adoption and use of electronic health records.

FederalHealthit.gov - ONC

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) website. Features general information about health information technology for both consumers and providers.  It is also a resource to the entire health system to support the adoption of health information technology and the promotion of nationwide health information exchange to improve health care.  ONC is located within the Office of the Secretary for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

FederalCenters for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) website

​The federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services oversee the Electronic Health Records Incentive Programs, which provide eligible hospitals and medical professionals financial support to implement and meaningfully use electronic health record systems. The centers also develop meaningful use criteria providers must meet in order to receive an incentive payment.​​
