GUIDE TO OREGON HEALTH PLAN LETTERS

Did you receive a letter from the Oregon Health Authority about health coverage in 2014? 

We have good news for people seeking health coverage! In Oregon, there are more health care options available than ever before. The Oregon Health Plan (OHP) has opened to more adults. The Oregon Health Authority, which oversees OHP, is sending several letters to let thousands of Oregonians know about what options are available to them and how to enroll. SNAP Recipients - Fast-track Letter & Consent

Fast-track enrollment is available for people who meet Oregon Health Plan requirements and have already qualified for food benefits through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Fast-track enrollment a simple way for pre-screened Oregonians to enroll in coverage through the Oregon Health Plan. Individuals who sign and return the fast-track consent form do not need to apply for coverage through Cover Oregon.

Parents of Healthy Kids - Fast-track Letter & Consent form

OHP Standard members move to OHP Plus

Adults with Oregon Health Plan (OHP) Standard health benefits will get a new benefit package on January 1, 2014. This new benefit package is called Oregon Health Plan “Plus.” Coordinated Care Organizations will stay the same and doctors and other providers will stay the same. OHP Plus covers more services than OHP Standard. OHP Plus members receive access to regular check-ups and preventative care, access to primary care doctors, mental health care and addiction treatment services, some vision and dental care, and more. OHP Standard members will not need to do anything; the change will happen automatically on January 1, 2014. Mailing date: The week of Nov. 25

OMIP and FHIAP

Oregon Medical Insurance Pool (OMIP) coverage and Family Health Insurance Assistance Program (FHIAP) subsidies end December 31, 2013. To help ensure that there is no break in health coverage, OMIP and FHIAP clients need to fill out and return the paper application enclosed with the letter no later than November 25. Specialists are waiting to review the OMIP/FHIAP applications. Mail date: November 8.
