Oregon Health Plan

FamilyCare, a coordinated care organization in Washington, Multnomah, Clackamas, and Marion counties, will no longer serve OHP members as of January 31, 2018. OHP benefits remain in place. You will not lose your health care. Read Frequently Asked Questions about the transition | Stay up to date on the FamilyCare transition.

Medicaid work requirements in the news

Oregon’s priority is to continue to expand health coverage and reduce the uninsured rate in our state. When people have access to quality health care, they are better able to earn a living wage, support a thriving family and contribute to their communities. We do not anticipate placing work requirements on Oregon Health Plan members. Oregon’s Medicaid program currently provides vital health coverage to more than 1 in 4 Oregonians, including working adults living close to the poverty line and struggling to support their families. Work requirements would create barriers to health coverage that would jeopardize vulnerable Oregonians and add administrative complexity and costs for states.

Federal Officials Renew Oregon's Waiver to Continue Health System Transformation

The state remains committed to ensuring all Oregonians have access to high-quality, affordable health care. OHA is committed to working with our federal partners to continue the success we've had in our state.

In the meantime we'll stay true to Oregon's track record of health innovation and our success in delivering greater access, better outcomes and lower costs for Oregonians.
