Academic libraries can apply for competitive grants under Oregon's state LSTA program. Grant guidelines are released in mid-January and are posted on the web on the "Oregon's LSTA Competitive Grants" page at: http://www.oregon.gov/OSL/LD/LSTAcomp.shtml.
The Oregon Intellectual Freedom Clearinghouse (OIFC) collects reports on formally challenged materials from all types of Oregon libraries (school, academic, and public). OIFC uses challenge reports as a resource to help libraries deal with challenges.
Oregon's LSTA program subsidizes academic library access to a suite of statewide databases. The Statewide Database Licensing Advisory Committee (SDLAC) has several academic members that participate in the database licensing process.
The State library hosts the Libs-Or list which is used for many major announcements and general library messages. There is also a one-way list, AL-Directors, which the State Library adds new director to.

OSLIS is the state's K-12 web portal providing access to quality licensed databases within an information literacy framework. It features an up-to-date citation maker for APA and MLA that is used by many academic institutions.
The Cooperative Library Instruction Project (CLIP) is a partnership between Chemeketa Community College, Lane Community College, Oregon State University, Western Oregon University and Willamette University whose mission is to design and develop sharable, web-based tutorials to assist in library instruction and information literacy.
