The Department of Administrative Services Information Technology (DAS IT) program is responsible for managing the support of DAS IT systems including PCs, operating systems, applications and associated hardware. DAS IT also administers state government's mailing list
service.
In addition to serving the internal IT needs of DAS, DAS IT supports the IT needs of a variety of agencies, boards and commissions.
DAS IT consists of three units:
- The DAS IT Service Desk provides its customers with a centralized point of contact for responsive IT services support. The service desk is committed to efficiently and effectively helping its customers and proactively identifying and solving problems in a teamwork environment.
- The Application Development team creates and maintains critical database systems in use across state government for a variety of agency business needs.
- The Project Management Office provides project management, analysis and administrative expertise to the program.
The DAS Chief Information Officer leads the DAS IT program, which is one of several programs of
Enterprise Information Services, which is led by the State Chief Information Officer.
