Benefit levels effective July 1, 2026
Benefits apply to Oregon injured workers subject to Oregon Revised Statutes Chapter 656 with
dates of injury on or after July 1, 2026. Benefits are not due until claim acceptance.
$29,224.20 (unpaid balance paid to worker’s estate)
Combined maximum = $8,474.81 a month
- Children (up to age 19) = $1,589.07 a month
- Children ages 19 to 26 are allowed benefits while attending higher education or GED courses (48-month maximum) = $1,589.07 a month*
* Children (ages 19 to 26)
without any living parent = $4,237.72 a month while attending higher education/GED courses.
Combined maximum = $635.63 a month
Other dependents are named relatives who were dependent, in whole or in part, on the worker. Benefit is based on 50 percent of average monthly support actually received from the worker during the previous 12 months.
