This is a collaborative workshop featuring detailed presentation on Assistive Technology including potential funding resources. The workshop has been designed to offer the opportunity for community partners to meet and explore collaborative approaches to accessing assistive technology for those you serve.

The workshop is intended for ADRC Options Counselors, OPI, AAA, Tribes, APD, ODDS, and CIL Case Managers, Diversion/Transition Coordinators and other key staff and leadership who help older adults and people with disabilities experiencing long-term services and supports needs

All workshops are scheduled from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

​Participants receive a full day of training including everything needed to be an Information and Referral Specialist for the ADRC of Oregon. New employees, seasoned staff looking for a refresher, and supervisors are encouraged to attend. Training includes soft skills for providing I&R service as well as computer training on the GetCare system. We will have 2 short breaks and an hour for lunch on your own. Please make sure you have a login and password for the GetCare system before coming to class.
