​​The DAS Procurement Competency Program assists Oregon procurement professionals in developing the knowledge, skills, abilities, behaviors, and other characteristics that allow them to perform work roles or occupational functions successfully. The DAS Procurement Competency Program integrates with DAS Enterprise Values and Competencies and Performance Accountability Program and Feedback (PAF) programs and with the DAS Procurement Services public procurement certification program.

The three main uses of the competencies listed in the DAS Procurement Competency Program are:

  1. To assist managers in implementing the features of the DAS Performance Accountability Program and Feedback (PAF) model
  2. To be used by procurement professional or their mangers to help determine career development goals
  3. To identify training which can be used towards Oregon Public Procurement Certification Contact Hours
