This data sheet includes investigations conducted in Child-Caring Agencies (CCAs), in 24-hour group homes for children with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), foster care homes licensed by either the Office of Developmental Disabilities Services (ODDS) or the Oregon Youth Authority (OYA), schools, day care centers or by third-party abusers. Slicers are available for CCA, DD children, Schools, Daycare and Third-party non-familial. Data for the ODDS licensed foster care homes are included with DD children. Data for the OYA licensed foster care homes are in Third-party non-familial. Please note: data for DD children is a duplicate of that available in the I/DD data sheet. The data now includes children in settings other than 24-hour residential care.

This data sheet includes data from investigations conducted by the Community Mental Health Programs (CMHP), investigations conducted at the Oregon State Hospital (OSH) and investigations conducted in substance use disorder treatment facilities (beginning in 2020). You are able to slice the data by community settings, regulated settings, OSH or any combination of those.

Abuse and neglect of people enrolled in I/DD services

This data sheet includes investigations for adults and children enrolled in services for people with I/DD. You are able to slice by adult in a community setting, adult in a regulated setting or child. Please note: the data for children is a duplicate of the data available in the Children-in-Care data sheet.

Death reviews

The outcomes of death reviews for people who received behavioral health services from CMHPs is reported. Beginning in the last quarter of 2019, death reviews of people receiving I/DD services were reported to OTIS. You are able to slice by behavioral health or I/DD services.
