Information for Contractors, Subcontractors and Partners
Contracts and Procurement Services provides purchasing guidance and contract development for the department.
Information Security Requirements and Other Certifications
The Oregon Employment Department provides for
the integrity and security of its information assets. This is
accomplished by establishing appropriate policies and procedures for
preserving the integrity and security of each automated process, paper
file, or data base of information.
Information Security Policies and procedures
establish and maintain a standard of due care to prevent misuse or loss
of state agency information assets and provide management directives for
information security to conform with business requirements, laws, and
administrative rules.
All contractors, vendors, partners, volunteers, and non-OED staff who access confidential information or agency data must certify
they have read and understand the Information Security Policy and
related documents prior to performing services for the Department.
Criminal Background Checks
All contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants doing business
with the department must conduct and pay for criminal record checks, at
their expense, for any of their employees who have access to any systems
or data; or who may enter any of the department's buildings. We also require written assurance that subject
individuals are fit for services to the department. Workforce partners
are excluded from this policy.
Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN)
ORPIN is Oregon's resource for viewing public agency opportunities. Most state agencies and many local
governments use ORPIN to reach suppliers and procure goods and
services.
The
site provides information needed to register as a supplier (or
log in to if you are already registered) to state agencies, boards, and
commissions. You can also bid on opportunities that match your business offerings, or
answer frequently asked questions.
