Information on college costs is included below. Universities are generally responsible for setting annual tuition and fees. However, should the combined annual increase in resident undergraduate tuition and mandatory enrollment fees exceed five percent for a public university, the HECC, or the Oregon Legislature, must approve the increase. The Higher Education Coordinating Commission may hear appeals from recognized student governments on the issue of mandatory incidental fee (student fee) requests that are modified or rejected by institutional administration or Board.* Student governments may contact firstname.lastname@example.org to learn more.
