Corina Drake-Minior is an Oregon born resident. A graduate of South Medford High School, she excelled in her studies, math and science being her favorites. She participated in sports such as powderpuff football, basketball, and track. She was also a member of multiple band ensembles, which included marching, concert, jazz, and orchestra. Spending most of her life in Oregon, Corina enjoys finding the best way to spend her free time away from work with friends and family. She loves to socialize and network both in her personal and professional life.  She has always been an avid book reader and being outdoors. From playing in the backyard to traveling to the Pacific Coast, she enjoys all that the four seasons Southern Oregon has to offer. Corina has four adult children and two grandsons that she spends as much time as possible with, building lifetime memories.

She worked with Lifetouch Portrait Studios for many years putting forth the best photographic experience possible for her customers. She used her skills in teamwork, communications, culture of learning, and passion for the job to help people feel confident and put their best foot forward. For the last 11 years, she currently continues those skills with Liberty Tax Service in Medford and honestly loves her work. She welcomes difficult preparations with grace and enjoys the challenges that tax season provides. She manages a highly educated, enthusiastic, and fun group of tax professionals at Liberty Tax Service Medford Center which has performed in the top 1% for offices in the company for many concurrent years.

In addition to her already busy schedule, she is excited for the opportunity to serve as the Treasurer for David's Chair Outdoor Mobility Services. Corina has volunteered with the organization since 2018 where she has been lucky to watch the organization continue to grow as it serves the local area and beyond.

Corina believes in continually putting forth friendliness, compassion, kindness, and peace in the chaos of our world. Things will only get better if we choose to make them that way.

I began my accounting career in 1997, working as a staff accountant at a CPA firm in southern California. Although I appreciated the public accounting work, I found I was more interested in tax accounting, and was promoted to the position of tax manager at that firm.

I moved to Oregon to start a family, and worked part-time as an accountant on and off at various companies, but really wanted to get back to taxes. In 2011, I was able to realize that dream by buying the franchise I was working for, a Liberty Tax Service. In 2019, a few employees from that company decided to separate and become a new corporation, which I now lead in McMinnville, Oregon.

Throughout my tax career here in Oregon, I have had the privilege of working with the staff and volunteers of the Oregon Board of Tax Practitioners. I am proud to be a Tax Consultant in this state, where we maintain the highest standards for our tax professionals, and I would be honored to serve with the esteemed men and women in that capacity.

Jay first visited Oregon with his family in 1972 with the plan to visit the coast.  The first major event of the trip was a wrong exit and finding ourselves in downtown Portland.  Being from a small community in Idaho he declared, “If we ever get out of here alive we will never come back."  However, after visiting the coast that resolve changed and twenty years and three states later we became residence of Oregon.

Jay received his degree in accounting and business administration from Kinman Business University.  He became a Licensed Tax Preparer in 2011 and began his tax preparation career with Liberty Tax Service in Lebanon.  Two years later he became a Licensed Tax Consultant and with his wife began their own tax preparation business.  They soon realized that more was needed so Jay became an Enrolled Agent in 2016 and a Certified Acceptance Agent in 2018 with the IRS.

Jay is a member of The Oregon Society of Tax Consultants and The Oregon Association of Tax Consultants.  He is president of the Mid-Willamette Valley of The Oregon Association of Tax Consultants.

Sandee is an Oregon native, born and raised In Portland.  She has always held positions that required interacting with individuals. After 10 years of Design Consultation at Meier & Frank, she decided to pursue something in a field where she could still work with people but sit down!! Standing on concrete floors for 10 hours a day is hard on a body!!

Sandee took and passed a Basic 80 Hour Tax course in 2002. After working the required hours, she then passed the Oregon State Consultants Exam in 2005. She worked for the same tax company for 20 years. She also edited and taught the Basic 80 Hour Tax Course for one of the leading tax schools in Oregon for 7 years.

Preparing taxes is something Sandee really enjoys. Not just the solving of the puzzle pieces that make up a return, but the wonderful relationships that have formed over the years. It has been heartwarming for her to have the children of clients reach out when they become adults and have the new responsibility of filing their own tax return!

Sandee's husband retired in January of 2023 and they have settled in Keizer, OR for their 'golden' years, where the pace is slower.  This allows them time to just enjoy life and their wonderfully crazy cats, Luna and Floyd. Both Sandee and her husband are also car enthusiasts, owning a Corvette and Camaro, which they show several times a year. They enjoy traveling to Mexico and to auto races in other states.
