Description

The Fluorescence Polarization Assay (FPA) is typically used as a confirmatory test for serological non-negatives, but can be run upon request.

Specimen Requirements and Collection Protocol

1-2 mL of serum or whole blood. Tubes containing anticoagulants (i.e. purple and green top tubes) will not be accepted.

On ice - do not freeze - recommend ship overnight

Submission Form

Additional Information

Non-negatives will increase turnaround times and may need to be sent to the National Veterinary Services Lab (NVSL) and may incur additional charges.
