Oregon DMV Driver Statistics

The following DMV statistical reports capture the data contained in customer and driver records as of the date the report was run.

DRIVER LICENSE & ID CARD HOLDERS SORTED BY AGE AND CREDENTIAL TYPE and DRIVER LICENSE & ID CARD HOLDERS SORTED BY AGE AND GENDER Reports - These reports provide the total number of individuals in each category holding  a credential that has not been expired for more than two years. These counts exclude credentials surrendered to another state, credentials that are revoked, and credentials issued to individuals who are now deceased. 

ISSUANCE BY AGE AND COUNTY REPORT - This report provides the total number of credentials issued by the DMV during the specified year. This report counts multiple issuances for the same individual. 

LICENSES SURRENDERED FROM OTHER STATES - This report provides the total number of individuals who surrendered an out-of-state credential in order to obtain a credential in Oregon during the specified year.

Class C Knowledge Testing

Pass/Fail Rates by Language – These rates do not reflect how many individual customers took the test, or how many attempts an individual customer made on a test. For example, a customer who takes the test twice, fails once and passes the second time, is reflected as both a fail and a pass.
