Vehicle Title, Registration & Permit Fees

  • You can make an appointment to title and register your vehicle at some DMV offices.  Appointment includes VIN inspection, if needed.
  • Mail your title transaction and fees to DMV if you do not make an appointment.
  • It may take 17 weeks for you to receive a title, plates or stickers.
  • If you are not titling the vehicle, renew or replace your plates at DMV2U or by mail.
  • Many will not be cited for expired plates or trip permits at this time.
If you are mailing them in, make checks and money orders payable to 'Oregon DMV'.
