Appointments for Drive Tests

This office only has appointments for drive tests. You do not need an appointment for any other service type.
You will need an appointment for a drive test.
Make an appointment for drive testing at DMV2U.
You can change or cancel your appointment.
If appointments are full, check back after 5pm on Mondays.

Inclement Weather

10:00am – 5:00pm, Wednesday

9:00am – 5:00pm, Thursday and Friday

(Closed mid-day from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM)

The lobby will be closed during all drive test appointments. Other customers will need to wait outside during the drive test so please dress appropriately for the weather.
This facility may be closed temporarily at other times when business, illness or training requires the limited staff to be away from the office.

Drive tests are given by appointment only. If you would like to schedule an appointment, please call the office number above.

You must show proof of insurance before a drive test. You can use:

A valid insurance card;
A current vehicle liability insurance policy or binder; or
A DMV Certificate of Self-Insurance showing you as the owner of the vehicle.

Note: If there is inclement weather, drive tests may be cancelled or traction devices may be required. Please confirm your drive test by calling the office.

Going North

From northbound Redwood Hwy (OR-199), turn LEFT (west) on Lister St (at the traffic signal).
Travel 2 blocks west on Lister St.
The DMV office will be on the left-hand side of Lister St in the Illinois Valley Safe House Alliance building, just before you reach Kerby Ave.

Going South

From southbound Redwood Hwy (OR-199), turn RIGHT (west) on Lister St (at the traffic signal).
Travel 2 blocks west on Lister St.
The DMV office will be on the left-hand side of Lister St in the Illinois Valley Safe House Alliance building, just before you reach Kerby Ave.

Going West

From westbound Caves Hwy (OR-46), turn RIGHT (north) on Redwood Hwy (OR-199).
Travel north on OR-199 for about 3 blocks.
Turn LEFT (west) on Lister St (at the traffic signal).
Travel 2 blocks west on Lister St.
The DMV office will be on the left-hand side of Lister St in the Illinois Valley Safe House Alliance building, just before you reach Kerby Ave.
