DMV Offices - Statewide Holiday Closures

During inclement weather, or state emergencies, please see the Department of Administrative Services Building Closure Notices for State Offices

All DMV offices, including DMV Headquarters and the Business Regulation office in Salem, will be closed on the dates listed below due to holidays.

2025 Closures

State agencies will be closed on the remaining days in 2025:
  • Veterans Day observed - Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025
  • Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, Nov. 27, 2025
  • Day after Thanksgiving - Friday, Nov. 28, 2025
  • Christmas Day - Thursday, Dec. 25, 2025

2026 Closures

State agencies will be closed on the following days in 2026:
  • New Years Day - Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day - Monday, Jan. 19, 2026
  • President's Day - Monday, Feb. 16, 2026
  • Memorial Day - Monday, May 25, 2026
  • Juneteenth - Friday, June 19, 2026
  • Independence Day observed - Friday, July 3, 2026
  • Labor Day - Monday, Sept. 7, 2026
  • Veterans Day - Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2026
  • Thanksgiving Day - Thursday, Nov. 26, 2026
  • Day after Thanksgiving - Friday, Nov. 27, 2026
  • Christmas Day - Friday, Dec. 25, 2026
