AmeriCorps Oregon Competitive Funding

Increase your organization's impact and reach in the community with an AmeriCorps program.

AmeriCorps provides program grant funding to eligible organizations to address their community's most pressing needs. Competitive grant applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements: 

  • Be a nonprofit, government agency, school, or community and/or faith-based organization 
  • Request AmeriCorps members to serve only in Oregon 
  • Be able to support the equivalent of 20 full-time members in the first year of operation.

AmeriCorps State Competitive Funding

Competitive State grants help place members in service in Oregon and will be part of the AmeriCorps Oregon portfolio. Oregon considers applications for submission to AmeriCorps as part of a national competition.

Important Dates

November 9, 2026 | Notice of Intent to Apply due to OregonServes
November 30, 2026 | Applications due to OregonServes
December 1 - 21, 2026 | OSC Application Review and Clarification Period
January 6, 2027 | Final Application revisions due in eGrants and email
Mid-April, 2027 | Successful applicants will be notified
Mid-June, 2027 | Successful applicants will be issued awards

Application Instructions

All Applicants AmeriCorps Required Documents Application materials and instructions are made available from documents provided by AmeriCorps. If AmeriCorps makes updates to their application materials, OregonServes will update and repost our documents. Applicants must submit applications electronically via eGrants, AmeriCorps’ web-based system. Applicants are required to submit additional documents by the application submission deadline. Additional documents must be emailed to oregon.serves@hecc.oregon.gov.
