Ask the Board a Question

question iconWe encourage you to submit your question(s) by completing and submitting the Board Question form. Please include as much detail as possible, along with any other additional information that would assist the Board or Committee in making an informed decision.

OSBEELS will present your question(s) to the Board or one of its Committees at the earliest opportunity available after we receive your completed question form. At that time, the Board or Committee may elect to address the issue in open session, decide to seek advice of the Board’s legal counsel on the matter, determine that further clarification of your question is necessary, or decline to address your question.

If the Board or Committee decides to seek advice of its own legal counsel, you will not have the option of withdrawing your question(s) once your question(s) is forwarded. The Board may decide to act upon the advice of counsel regarding your question(s).

OSBEELS does not provide personal legal advice to members of the public. However, you may always seek legal advice on Oregon legal issues, including regulatory issues, from private counsel.

You are welcome to attend the Board or Committee meeting where presentation of your question(s) is scheduled. You may be asked, at this time, to clarify detail for the Board or Committee members.

Please note, any response provided to you by OSBEELS is considered a public record and may be made public by the Board.
