Wildfire Season is upon us. Closures are indicated in this guide, as available to us at the time of publication. Many fire restrictions are in effect throughout the state. Be sure to check local closures and guidelines to plan ahead for your recreational activities.

Several roads and highways have been closed across the state to support firefighting efforts making some parks intermittently inaccessible. Please refer to Road & Weather Conditions Map | TripCheck - Oregon Traveler Information when planning your trip.

Agate Lake

  • UPDATE: Agate Lake boat launch is open, and the lake is 61% full.

Agency Lake

  • Henzel and Petric Park's boat ramps are open.

Alsea River

  • The Port of Alsea boat launch is open. Alsea Bay has no maintained channel or jetties.  Because of new siltation around and in the marina, please avoid using the boat launch on minus tides.

Ana Reservoir

  • The County ramp is open.

Anthony Lakes

  • Anthony Lakes Campground and boat launch are open. The lake is a wonderful place for nonmotorized boats and boats with electric motors.  Enjoying exploring the lake and fishing. The water is cold so remember to wear your life jacket.

Applegate Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Hart-Tish ramp is open and there is approximately 30 feet of water over the bottom of the ramp.
  • UPDATE: Copper ramp is open and there is approximately 38 feet of water over the bottom of the ramp.
  • UPDATE: French Gulch boating access open and there is approximately 100 feet of water over the end of the ramp.

Ben Irving Reservoir

  • Ben Irving boat launch is open and accessible.

Benson Lake

  • This small lake is located within Benson State Recreation Area about a mile west of Multnomah Falls.  Please note the park is accessible to eastbound traffic only from I-84 exit 30.  There is a short carry down trail from the parking for nonmotorized boaters to access the lake.  This is a nice alternative to the Columbia River and a good place for less experienced paddlers. 

Beulah Reservoir

  • UPDATE: The Beulah launch has approximately 12 feet of water over the end of the ramp.

Big Lake

  • Big Lake West, Big Lake campgrounds, and Big Lake Day Use boating access sites are open.

Blue Lake (Multnomah County)

  • Blue Lake Regional Park is open.

Blue River Reservoir

Bradley Lake

  • Bradley Lake boat ramp is open.

Brownlee Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Moonshine Mine boat ramp is open. There is approximately 41 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
  • UPDATE: The Spring Recreation Campground is open, and the dock has been installed. There is approximately six feet of water over the bottom of the ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
  • UPDATE: Hewitt Park low-water ramp and docks are open. There is more than 23 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp. A bank stabilization project will begin August 15th at the Hewitt RV and Tent sites areas. The boat ramp will remain open, but campers may be moved to Holcomb Park during construction. This project is anticipated to be completed by early October. 
  • UPDATE: Holcomb Park boat launch is closed due to low water levels.
  • UPDATE: Farewell Bend State Park is closed, including the boat ramp and docks. Staff is working hard to clear hazard trees, repair water lines, and remove burnt material, as well as coordinating with utility companies to restore services.   • The floating restroom has been removed for the season.

Bull Prairie Reservoir

  • ADVISORY: The area surrounding Bull Prairie Campground, Lake Penland, and along the John Day River from River Mile 155 to North Fork John Day River, River Mile 100 are listed as Level 3: Go (Leave immediately) evacuation due to the Boneyard, Monkey Creek, and Snake fires.

Bully Creek Reservoir

  • ADVISORY: The Cow Valley Fire has closed access to Bully Creek Reservoir.  

Campbell Lake

  • Campbell Lake campground and ramp are open.

Cape Meares Lake

  • The boat ramp is open. The launch and maneuver area are very small. Be careful when launching and retrieving, you may encroach onto Bay Ocean Road.  Weeds are getting thick in much of the lake.

Chetco River

  • Alfred A. Loeb State Park, Miller Bar, Nook Bar, Redwood Bar, and South Fork Campgrounds and Day Use areas have large drop offs on the access to the gravel bar.
  • The Port of Brookings Harbor will be hosting several events this season. These events can cause congestion near the dock and rinse station. Cones and signs are put out to help traffic flow.
    • July 27-28 – Bigfoot Blues Festival
    • August 2-4 – Art on the Coast
    • August 8-11 – Pirates of the Pacific Festival

Chickahominy Reservoir

  • The boat ramp is open, and the docks are floating.

Clackamas River

  • Clackamette Park is open and available for nonmotorized launching, however the boat ramp is closed due to safety concerns.
  • The Milo McIver State Park boat ramp is open. Campground will be closed for restroom upgrades and general improvements from September 16, 2024 – January 31, 2025.
  • Moore Creek and Hole-in-the-Wall Boat Access sites are open year-round, weather permitting.

Clear Lake (Wasco County)

  • UPDATE: The lake is 21% full. The campground and boat launch are open. The water level will continue to go down to meet agricultural water rights.  This is a nice place for paddlers to explore even when water levels are low.

Clear Lake (Linn County)

  • NEW: Boating access at the Cold Water Cove boat slide is open.
  • Clear Lake Resort, marina and ramp are open. This is a great place to paddle, but dress appropriately because the water is very cold year-round.

Cleawox Lake

  • Jessie M. Honeyman State Park small boat ramp and large day use beach and dock are open. Small boats are recommended. Remember to clean, drain and dry any boat and remove any visible vegetation. Help prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.

Coast Fork-Willamette River

Coffenbury Lake

  • Fort Stevens State Park boat launch and docks are open.  Remember to Clean, Drain and Dry between waterbodies to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.

Cold Springs Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Cold Springs Reservoir is approximately 28% full. The reservoir is located approximately 20 minutes east of Hermiston. There is a primitive boat ramp and gravel parking. This is a great place to paddle, fish and watch wildlife.

Columbia River

  • UPDATE: Port of The Dalles restrooms are closed for repair, and two portable restrooms are available. The boat ramp, short-term tie-up dock, pumpout and dump station are open. The marine fuel station is operated by the Yacht Club and offers both diesel and gasoline.
  • Sandy Beach short-term tie-up dock on Government Island is damaged.  Use caution when accessing the dock.
  • The pump out station at the Port of Cascade Locks is out of service until further notice due to low water. The boat ramp and boarding docks are open.
  • Hammond, Warrenton, and Rainier City Marinas are open.
  • Sand Island shuttle service is open.  There are two large short-term tie-up docks for recreational boater use only. 
  • The City of St. Helens Courthouse Docks are open. The pumpout and dump station are available.
  • The Hayden Bay pumpout is online.
  • M. James Gleason boating access is open. The pumpout and dump station are operational.
  • Chinook Landing ramp, docks and restrooms are open. The pumpout and dump station are open.
  • Rooster Rock day use is open. The launch ramp is only usable during higher river flows due to heavy sedimentation. 
  • Mayer State Park, Hat Rock State Park, Boardman Marina and boat ramp, Irrigon Marina, boat ramp, recreational boat short term tie-up dock and pumpout and dump station are open.  and Port of Arlington's pumpout and dump station are open.  The boat ramp and recreational boat short-term tie-up dock are open.

Cooper Creek

  • Cooper Creek boat launch is open.

Coos Bay

  • UPDATE: California Street boat ramp is open, and the first half of the boarding docks have been replaced.  The City of North Bend is having the remaining docks repaired.
  • UPDATE: The Eastside Boat Ramp is open and a couple docks have been installed. The other boarding docks are being repaired and the City is anticipating having piling replaced in August.
  • Shinglehouse Boat Ramp is open. The boarding docks have been vandalized and removed. There are no plans to replace them currently.
  • The Charleston marina is open year-round. Both pumpout and dump stations are operational.
  • Empire Boat Ramp is open, and docks are installed.
  • North Spit docks are not installed and there is sediment build up on the boat ramp.

Coos River

  • The Myrtle Tree boat ramp is open.

Coquille River

  • UPDATE: Coquille Boat Ramp is open. Approximately 800 cy of sediment was removed. The toe of the boat ramp still has sediment build up.  Docks are anticipated to be installed July 31.
  • The campground at Bullard's Beach State Park will be closed September 16, 2024 through March 17, 2025. During this time the main sewer line for the campground will be upgraded. The day use portion of the park will remain open with limited disruptions.
  • The Port of Bandon boat ramp and marina, Bullard's Beach, Rocky Point, and Riverton are open.
  • Sturdivant Park's boat ramp and docks are open; water levels are tidally influenced. The fish cleaning station is available for use.
    • The ramp is expected to close for complete reconstruction between July 15th and September 9th.
    • The will be hosting a city-wide Yard Sale on August 17th.
    • The Rail Riders are operating out of the park Thursday-Monday through October.
  • Arago Boat Ramp is open. Boarding docks are not installed.

Cottage Grove Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Wilson Creek boat ramp is open and has approximately seven feet of water over the end of the ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
  • Lakeside Boat Ramp is open. There is more than 40 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.

Cottonwood Meadow Lake

  • The west ramp has a boarding dock. Vegetation only allows for small boats or kayaks.
  • The east ramp can accommodate small to medium boats and has no boarding dock.

Cougar Reservoir

  • Slide Creek Campground and Echo Park are open. However, the water is more than 25 feet below the bottom of the ramps.  

Crane Prairie

  • UPDATE: The reservoir is 84% full.
  • Crane Prairie Day Use boating access boarding docks are installed.
  • Rock Creek boating access docks have been installed.
  • Quinn River boat launch and campground are open. The ramp has a shallow slope, and the asphalt approach is damaged and breaking apart.
  • Crane Prairie Resort and Marina are open.
  • Browns Mountain boating access has a shallow slope with four-inch gaps between concrete planks. The location on the reservoir provides for calmer water and is a great place for paddlers to explore.

Crescent Lake

Crump Lake

  • ADVISORY: Check with Oregon Department of State Lands to determine if access to the lake is open. OAR 141-088-0250  shawn.zumwalt@dsl.oregon.gov

Crystal Creek

  • Malone Springs boat launch is open. Hand launching is available.
  • Rocky Point ramp on Recreation Creek is about ten-minute drive south and trailered boats can use the boat ramp.

Cullaby Lake

  • Cullaby Lake Park is open, and docks are floating.
  • Carnahan Park is open.

Cultus Lake

  • Big Cove, West Cultus, and Little Cove Boat-In Campgrounds are open.
  • Cultus Lake Day Use and boating site are open.
  • Cultus Lake Campground and boat ramp are open, and dock installed.

Davis Lake

  • East Davis Lake campground and boat launch are open.

Deadhorse Lake

  • Deadhorse Lake Campground and boat ramp are open. The boating access is primitive and great for nonmotorized boats and boats with electric motors 

Depoe Bay

  • Depoe Bay boat ramp is open.

Depot Slough

  • The Port of Toledo recreational short-term tie-up docks, pumpout and dump station are open.

Deschutes River

  • Heritage Landing, Lava Island Falls (Big Eddy), Aspen, Slough, Besson, Tetherow and Harper's Bridge, Big River, Pringle Falls, and Cow Meadow Campgrounds and boating access sites are open. Many of these locations are also trailheads for the Deschutes River Trail. To learn more about the trail, visit Deschutes National Forest - Deschutes River Trail (usda.gov)

Delintment Lake

Detroit Lake

  • UPDATE: The water level at State Park D ramp is approximately three feet below the bottom of the boat ramp. Nonmotorized boats can carry down.
  • UPDATE: Cove Creek Campground boat ramp is open, and water is 14 feet over the end ramp.  The boarding docks are off the guideway. Use caution when using.
  • UPDATE: Southshore Campground is open. Water is 9 feet over the end of the ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
  • UPDATE: Hoover Campground is open, and water is 10 feet over the bottom of the ramp. The boarding docks are off the guideway.  Use caution when using.
  • UPDATE: Kane's Marina is open and there is approximately seven feet of water under the marina.
  • UPDATE: Mongold upper boat ramp lanes and docks are open, and water elevations are three feet over the bottom of the ramp.  Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
  • UPDATE: State Park G loop boating access is open. The water elevation is approximately 23 feet over the bottom of the boat ramp.
  • Detroit Lake Marina is open.

Devils Lake (Deschutes County)

  • UPDATE: Devil's Lake Campground is open.

Devil's Lake (Lincoln County)

  • Devil's Lake State Park West Campground and dock are open.
  • Devil's Lake State Park East boat ramp is open.

Dexter Reservoir

  • Lowell and Dexter State Park boat ramps are open, and water is fluctuating around nine feet over the bottom of the ramps. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.

Diamond Lake


Dog Lake

  • Dog Lake Campground and boating site are open.

Dorena Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Harms Park boat ramp is open, and there is approximately six feet of water at the bottom of the ramp. The main road leading to Harms boat ramp will have ongoing construction this summer for a culvert replacement project. Please access the park via Shoreview Drive to Row River Road along the north side of the lake.  Row River Road Culvert Replacement Project - Lane County  Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
  • UPDATE: Baker Bay boat ramp and campgrounds are open. There is approximately 61 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.

Duncan Reservoir

  • Duncan Reservoir has a small four single spaces and one group space Campground and boat ramp. It is located approximately 10 miles south from Silver Lake. open typically from Memorial Day to September 30th.

East Lake

  • East Lake and Cinder Hill Campgrounds are open.

Eel Lake

  • William M. Tugman State Park boat launch and kayak launch are open. The south trail around Eel Lake is closed near mile marker one in response to a slide.

Elk Lake (Deschutes County)

  • Sunset View Day Use, Elk Lake Day Use, Point Campground, Little Fawn and Elk Lake Resort boating access sites are open.

Emigrant Lake

  • UPDATE: North boat ramp is open. The lake is 38% full. The West ramp is now closed due to low water levels.

Estacada Lake

  • Timber Park nonmotorized launch is open. Call the park at 503-630-5210 for the most up to date information.

Fall Creek Reservoir

  • UPDATE: North Shore Day Use long ramp is open and there is more than 50 feet of water over the end of the ramp. The short ramp is closed.
  • UPDATE: Winberry boating access is open, and docks are floating. Water is nearly 12 feet over the end of the ramp.
  • Cascara boating access is closed due to low water levels. Hand launch davailable.

Faraday Lake

  • The lake, park and surrounding areas are closed for construction. Parking near the bridge and access to all areas across the bridge (Southeast of the Clackamas River) are closed. The area is anticipated to be reopened in the Fall of 2024. Faraday Lake (portlandgeneral.com)

Fern Ridge Reservoir

  • Perkins Peninsula Park is open. There is approximately four feet of water over the end of the ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting. Perkins Peninsula Park - Lane County
  • The floating restroom has been installed for the season.

Floras Creek

  • Boice Cope Campground and boat ramp are open.

Foster Reservoir

  • Sunnyside Park day use, and boating access is open. There is approximately 22 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
  • Gedney Creek is open, and water is 16 feet over the end of the ramp.
  • Calkins Park boat ramp is open. There is four feet of water over the end of the ramp.  Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.

Fourmile Lake

  • UPDATE: Fourmile Lake Campground and boat ramp are open, and the lake is 26% full.

Galesville Reservoir

  • Chief Miwaleta boat launch is open and accessible.

Garrison Lake (Port Orford)

  • 12th Street boat ramp and Pinehurst gravel ramp are open. Pinehurst is a great access site for paddlecraft to explore the lake.

Gold Lake

  • Gold Lake Campground and Day Use Area are open.

Grand Ronde Lake

  • Grand Ronde Lake Campground and boating access is open. This small access is approximately two miles from Anthony Lake. If you are looking for something less busy than Anthony Lake, check out this site. This hand launch site is a lovely spot for paddling.

Green Peter Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Thistle Creek upper ramp is open.  There is approximately five feet of water over the bottom of the upper ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
  • UPDATE: Whitcomb Creek campground is open and there is approximately 15 feet of water over the bottom of the ramp.
  • The floating restroom on the Quartzville arm has been removed.

Haystack Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Haystack Campground and Haystack West are open for day use and camping. The docks are in the water. The reservoir is 83% full.

Heart Lake

  • Heart Lake boat launch is located less than an hour west of Lakeview.  Heart, Lofton and Holbrook Lakes are less than 15 minutes apart. The little lakes are fun for small boats and paddlecraft.  Pick a place to camp and explore the area. Remember to Clean, Drain and Dry between waterbodies to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.

Hells Canyon Reservoir

  • Hells Canyon Creek boat ramp and Visitor Center are open.
  • Copperfield boat launch open.

Henry Hagg Lake

  • UPDATE: Ramps A and C have more than 50 feet of water over the end of the boat ramps.

Hills Creek Reservoir

  • Packard Creek Campground and Day Use area are open. The Boat Ramp is open year-round, and water is approximately 90 feet over the end of the ramp.
  • CT Beach boating access has approximately 23 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
  • Bingham boating access water level is ten feet over the bottom of the boat ramp.

Holbrook Reservoir

  • Holbrook Campground and boat launch are located less than an hour west of Lakeview.  Heart, Lofton and Holbrook Lakes are less than 15 minutes apart. The little lakes are fun for small boats and paddlecraft.  Pick a place to camp and explore the area. Remember to Clean, Drain and Dry between waterbodies to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.

Hosmer Lake

  • Hosmer Lake boating access is open.  

Howard Prairie Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Howard Prairie Resort boat launch is open and boarding docks are floating. The Campground is open. The reservoir is 49% full.
  • Willow Point, Grizzly and Klum Landing are open. However, the boat launches are closed due to low water.

Hyatt Lake

  • UPDATE: Wildcat Campground and boat ramp are open for the season. The reservoir is 51% full.
  • Cascade and Mountain View boat ramps are currently closed due to utility system upgrades.

Jubilee Lake

  • Jubilee Lake Campground is open. Nestled in the Umatilla National Forest, this high elevation lake is known for good fishing, swimming, and nonmotorized boating. From Highway 204, turn North onto Forest Service Road 64. Follow the road for 12 miles and the campground entrance will be on your right.

Kilchis River

  • UPDATE: Mapes Creek boat launch is open. This access will be closed July 31st through August 2nd for repairs.
  • The float from Kilchis County Park to Mapes Creek is too low for drift boats and individual watercraft.

Kinglsey Reservoir

Lake Billy Chinook

  • All three floating restrooms have been installed. They are located at Kettle falls, Deschutes, and Metolius arms.
  • Perry South, Cove Palisades State Park, Lower Deschutes, Crooked River and Upper Deschutes, and Cove Palisades Resort and Marina are open.

Lake Harriet

  • Lake Harriet Day Use area and boat ramp are open.

Lake Lytle

  • The City park is open.

Lake of the Woods

  • Aspen Point, Sunset Campground, Rainbow Bay and Lake of the Woods Resort boating access sites are open.

Lake Owyhee Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Gordon Gulch boat ramp is open. Two of the three dock sections have been repaired and are available for use. There is approximately 48 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp. There is currently a large hole in the concrete ramp. Launching is still available, and repairs will be made once the water level recedes.
  • UPDATE: Indian Creek boat ramp is open. There is currently more than 60 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
  • UPDATE: Leslie Gulch boat ramp is open, dependent upon the weather. Water is 19 feet over the bottom of the boat ramp. Contact Vale District Bureau of Land Management for more up-to-date information (541) 473-3144.
  • McCormack boat ramp is open.

Lake Penland

  • ADVISORY: The area surrounding Bull Prairie Campground, Penland Lake, and along the John Day River from River Mile 155 to North Fork John Day River, River Mile 100 are listed as Level 3: Go (Leave immediately) evacuation due to the Boneyard, Monkey Creek, and Snake fires.

Lake Simtustus

  • Pelton Park boat launch, marina and campground are open.

Laurance Lake

  • Kinnikinnick East and West are open. Laurance Lake near Hood River is a nice location for paddlers to explore.

Lava Lake

  • Lava Lake boating access is open, and the docks are installed. Lava Lake Resort and Marina are open.

Lemolo Lake

Little Cultus Lake

  • Little Cultus Campground and boating access are open.

Little Lava Lake

  • Little Lava Lake Campground and boat launch are open.

Lofton Reservoir

  • Lofton Reservoir campground and boat launch are located less than an hour west of Lakeview.  Heart, Lofton and Holbrook Lakes are less than 15 minutes apart. The little lakes are fun for small boats and paddlecraft.  Pick a place to camp and explore the area. Remember to Clean, Drain and Dry between waterbodies to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.

Lookout Point Reservoir

  • UPDATE: The Signal Point boat ramp is open. There is approximately 49 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
  • UPDATE: Black Canyon Campground and boat ramp are open. However, the water is 30 feet below the bottom of the boat ramp.
  • UPDATE: Hampton is open. However, the water is approximately 41 feet below the boat ramp. Use caution when carrying down nonmotorized boats.
  • The Meridian boat ramp is closed due to low water.

Loon Lake

  • The East Shore Day Use Area is open year-round. Paddlecraft can carry down from the Day Use Area.

Lost Creek Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Joseph Stewart Resort and Marina are open. The boat ramp is open and there is more than 28 feet of water over the end of the boat ramp.
  • UPDATE: Takelma boat ramp is open and there is approximately 88 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp. 

Luckiamute River

  • ADVISORY: The bridge accessing North Luckiamute State Natural Area (Crocker Road) is closed due to severe structural damage caused by a tree limb. The bridge is unsafe to cross and will remain closed to all traffic until a complete overhaul can be completed in early 2025. Until that time, the only way to access North Luckiamute is by boat. McKay Reservoir

  • UPDATE:  McKay Creek National Wildlife Refuge North and South boating access is open. And the reservoir is 64% full.

McKenzie River

  • Frissell, Paradise Campground, McKenzie Bridge, Bruckart Landing, Hamlin, Forest Glen, Finn Rock Landing, Silver Creek Boat Launch, Ben and Kay Dorris State Park, Helfrich Landing, Goodpasture, Greenwood Landing, Leaburg Landing, Deerhorn Landing, Hendricks Bridge, Bellinger Landing, Hayden Bridge, Armitage Park, are open.

Miller Lake

  • Digit Point Campground and boat launch are open. Water systems are nonpotable only. We have received comments from boaters that the road to Miller Lake is rough.  Use caution when towing a boat on the road.
  • Gideon Creek Day Use Area is open. This is a nice place to launch paddlecraft.

Millicoma River

  • Doris Place and Rooke-Higgins ramps are open.

Minam River

  • Minam State Recreation Area boat launch is open. Parking in this area is day use only.

Morgan Lake

  • Morgan Lake Campground and boat ramp are open.

Necanicum River

  • Quatat Marine Park and Cartwright Park boating access sites in Seaside are open. The automatic gate at Quatat was vandalized so the mechanism has been removed for repairs. Gates can be opened and closed manually.

Nehalem River

  • Nehalem Bay State Park boat ramp and docks, Wheeler short-term tie-up dock and boat ramp, Nehalem County Ramp, Roy Creek ramp, Nehalem H Street and Tohls Street docks are open.

Nestucca

  • The river above the first bridge is too low for drift boats.

North Fork Reservoir

  • North Fork Reservoir Lower Launch is open.
  • Promontory Park boat launch is open. Call the marina at 503-630-5152 for hours.

North Santiam River

  • Buell Miller, Lyons-Mehama and Stayton Bridge boating access are open year-round.
  • Greens Bridge access is gated. Anglers who wish to launch or retrieve from this site must apply for a key by calling the local ODFW office at (541) 757-4186 and provide your fishing license number.

North Twin Lake

North Umpqua River

  • Colliding Rivers, Hestness, Amacher, Umpqua Landing, and Whistlers Bend ramps are open and accessible.
  • Bogus Creek raft launch is closed from the Archie Creek fire. The U.S. Forest Service is working on plans to rebuild the boating access.

Ochoco Lake

  • UPDATE: The reservoir is 74% full. The boat launch is open.
  • The floating restroom has been installed for the season.

Odell Lake

  • Princess Creek, Trapper Creek and Sunset Cove Campgrounds, boat ramps and docks are open.

Odessa Creek off of Upper Klamath Lake

  • Odessa Picnic Site boat ramp is located approximately ½ mile from Upper Klamath Lake is open. Remember to Clean, Drain and Dry before launching at a new waterbody to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.

Olalla Reservoir

  • Olalla Lake Access is located approximately 10 minutes north of Toledo. The access is owned by Georgia Pacific and is seasonally available through mid-summer, while the water levels are high.

Olallie Lake

Pacific Ocean

  • Sunset Bay State Park campground is open for day use year-round.

Paulina Lake

  • Little Crater Campground and Day Use, Paulina Lake Campground and Day use boating access sites are open.

Phillips Reservoir

  • UPDATE: The reservoir is approximately 59% full, and the Union Creek Campground and Day Use Picnic Area are open.
  • Mason Dam boat ramp is open.

Pilcher Creek Reservoir

  • The County ramp and campground are open.  Located approximately 15 minutes west of North Powder.  Camp for a few days and explore the reservoir or travel about 20 minutes east to Wolf Creek Reservoir. If you want the trifecta experience, you can also camp and boat at Thief Valley Reservoir located about 45 minutes east. These are beautiful areas to paddle, fish and recreate. Remember to Clean, Drain and Dry between waterbodies to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.

Pine Hollow Reservoir

  • Both the South and North boat ramps are open. 

Powers Pond

  • Powers Park kayak launch is installed.

Prineville Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Jasper Point Campground and boat ramp are open, with 22 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
  • UPDATE: Powderhouse Cove ramp is open, with 15 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
  • UPDATE: Prineville State Park Day Use is open, and currently has 34 feet of water over the end of the ramp. The boarding dock is available. Day Use hazard buoys and no wake buoys are installed. State Parks will be replacing wales on the boarding dock throughout July.
  • The unimproved Roberts Bay and County ramps are open.
  • Both floating restrooms have been installed for the season.

Rogue River

  • NEW: The Clash at Cougar Lane whitewater hydroplane boat races will take place between Copper Canyon and Foster bar from August 17th, 10:00 AM through August 18th, 3:00 PM. Home (river-racers.com)
  • Argo, Rand boating access, Galice, Hog Creek, Ferry Hole, Griffin Park, Baker Park, Riverside Park, Dees Landing (Coyote Evans Wayside), Gold Hill Sports Park, TouVelle, Dodge Bridge, and Valley of the Rogue State Parks, Upper Rogue Regional Park (Shady Cove), Rogue Elk, and Casey County Park are open.
  • Grave Creek boat ramp is accessible. Please be aware that Rainie Falls Trail is still closed due to landslides. BLM asks that you stay out of that area.

Rogue River Bay

  • The Port of Gold Beach facilities are open.

Saunders Lake

  • The county boat ramp is open.

Scappoose Bay

  • Scappoose Bay Marina and boat ramp are open. The Marina will undergo improvements to the boat ramp approach and parking areas. Improvements will include installation of new pay stations, additional parking, wider sidewalks, paving, curbing, and striping. Construction is anticipated to be completed before spring 2025. Normal traffic routes and access may be interrupted.

Siletz River

  • Moonshine Boat Ramp, Old Mill Park and Hee Hee Illahee are open.

Siltcoos Lake

  • The floating restroom is now online.
  • Westlake County Park is open.

Siuslaw River

  • Port of Siuslaw Floating Restroom has been installed
  • The Port of Siuslaw boat ramp is open, and the boom logs have been removed for the season.
  • Schindler, Tiernan, Konnie Memorial, Tide County Parks, Mapleton, Bender Landing, Farnham, Linslaw, and Deadwood are open.

Skipanon River

  • Warrenton Marina is open.

Smith River

  • Dailey Ranch Slide is open for nonmotorized retrieval. Be aware of a log currently making it difficult for larger drift boats to retrieve at this location.
  • Vincent Creek boat launch is well suited for nonmotorized boats.
  • Bolon Island and Riverside ramps are open.

Snake River

  • Nyssa boat ramp and docks are open. There are large voids between the boat ramp concrete planks. Use caution when launching and retrieving.
  • Dug Bar is open.

South Twin Lake

  • South Twin Lake Campground and boat ramp are open.

South Umpqua River

  • Charles V Stanton, Happy Valley, and Pickett boat ramps are open.

Spring Creek

  • Collier Memorial Park campground, and Spring Creek Day Use are open.  When using this area be respectful, use only designated put in and take out areas, plan ahead and use approved upland sanitation. Do not beach your paddlecraft, handle mare's eggs, or disturb wildlife.  Protect your access to this waterway.

Suttle Lake

  • Link Creek, South Shore, and Blue Bay Campgrounds are open, and the docks have been installed.

Tahkenitch Lake

  •  ADVISORY: As of July 16, access is restricted to the Tahkenitch Lake boat ramp while Forest officials address a large hole just below the surface of the water. The docks adjacent to the boat ramp and the parking area remain open. The boat ramp provides access to Tahkenitch Lake and is located approximately ten miles south of Florence, Ore. While the closure is in place, alternative access to the lake can be found a short distance to the south at Tahkenitch Landing campground and day use area where several campsites have been converted to parking spots to accommodate additional boat trailers. A timeline for reopening the boat ramp remains uncertain. Tenmile Lake

  • NEW: Tenmile Lake will hos a Rogue Valley Bassmasters tournament August 17th, 6:00 AM through August 18th, 3:00 PM.  Home (roguevalleybass.com)
  • Tenmile County Ramp is open. Use caution when using the nonmotorized kayak launch.  A portion of the launch dock is submerged. The County is investigating if the dock has been punctured and filling with water.

Thompson Reservoir

  • Thompson Reservoir and Eastbay Campgrounds are open.

Thief Valley Reservoir

  • UPDATE: The County ramp and campground are open. The reservoir is 41% full. Located approximately 30 minutes east of North Powder.  Camp for a few days and explore the reservoir.  If you want the trifecta experience, you can also camp at Pilcher Creek Reservoir located about 45 minutes west and explore there and Wolf Creek Reservoir. Remember to Clean, Drain and Dry between waterbodies to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.

Tillamook Bay

  • All Port of Garibaldi facilities are open.
  • The Memaloose boat launch is open.

Tillamook River

  • The Burton Bridge ramp is open.

Timothy Lake

  • Stone Creek, Oak Fork, Gone Creek, Hoodview, Pine Point, West Shore Day Use and North Arm are open.

Town Lake

  • The Town Lake ramp near Pacific City is open.

Triangle Lake

Trojan Pond

  • Trojan Park is open year-round for paddling and day use.

Tualatin River

  • Willamette Park Paddle Access, and Fields Bridge Park boating access sites are open.
  • The Stark (Rivergrove) boat launch is open but in need of repairs. Recommend paddlecraft launch. Limited parking is available on the park side of the street.
  • Browns Ferry, Tualatin Community Park, and Jurgens Park boating access sites are open.
  • The Farmington boat launch is open. In June 2024, construction will begin on a new roundabout at the intersection of Farmington and River roads. During this project, Farmington Paddle Launch will remain open. Be prepared for detours or delays entering and exiting the site. Work is expected to be completed in fall 2025.
  • Rood Bridge Park and kayak launch are open.
  • Hazelbrook Road nonmotorized put in is temporarily closed due to construction. This access is expected to remain closed until August 5th.

Turner Lake

  • North Turner Lake boat ramp is open.

Umpqua River

  • Salmon Harbor east and west basins, pumpout and dump station, Gardiner ramp, Bumble Bee, Rainbow Plaza, Scottsburg, Scott Creek, Sawyer Rapids, Yellow Creek, James Wood, Cleveland Rapids, and River Forks, boating access sites are open.

Upper Klamath Lake

  • Odessa campground is open.
  • Rocky Point Boat Launch and docks are open.
  • Wocus Bay ramp is open. ODOT is still performing construction on Highway 140 and has set up their office in the parking lot.  

Unity Reservoir

Vee Lake

  • Vee Lake Campground and boat ramp are located approximately an hour north of Lakeview off Highway 395.  The site overlooks Hart Mountain National Wildlife Refuge on the edge of the high desert.   

Waldo Lake

  • Shadow Bay Day Use and boating access are open.

Wallowa Lake

  • Wallowa County Park and Wallowa State Park are open, and docks are installed.

Warm Springs Reservoir

  • UPDATE: The boat ramp is open, with approximately 12 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.

Wickiup Reservoir

  • UPDATE: The reservoir is 39% full. The Gull Point Boating access site is open.
  • Reservoir Campground is closed for the 2024 season due to significant hazard tree mitigation needs. 

Lower Willamette (Columbia River to Willamette Falls)

  • The debris boom at Jon Storm Park short-term tie-up dock is damaged. Use caution when operating near the piling. The restroom, pumpout and dump station are open. The parking lot is currently closed for the I-205 widening project to allow construction access.
  • Milwaukie Bay Park is open, and docks are installed for the season.
  • George Rogers Park is open.
  • Foothills Park, Tryon Cove, and Cedaroak boat launches are open.
  • Sportcraft Landing is open. The ODOT bridge contractor is working, so watch for barges and work boats in the area.

Middle Willamette (Willamette Falls to Salem)

  • Hebb Park ramp and docks, Molalla State Park boat ramp, Boones Ferry ramp and docks, Champoeg State Park short-term tie-up dock and bent paddle launch dock and Rogers Landing boating access site are open.

Upper Willamette (Salem to Eugene)

  • Willamette Park in Corvallis (Crystal Lake) boat ramp is open, and the docks are now installed.
  • The Aquathusiast ramp in North Riverfront Park (Michael's Landing) is open. Vehicle access from 1st Street is open. Vehicle access from 2nd Street is closed.
  • Independence Sports Park boat ramp, Buena Vista County ramp, Bowman Park, Takena Landing, Hyak Park, Peoria Park, McCartney Park, Harrisburg Landing, Whitely Landing, and Island Park are open.

Willamette River - Coast Fork

Willamette River – Middle Fork

  • Clearwater Park is open.
  • Pengra Access is open. There is a large cottonwood extending halfway across the river just down from the ramp. Use caution when navigating this area.
  • Jasper Bridge boating access is closed. There are no plans to reopen the site.  Paddlers can carry down from the main parking lot at Jasper State Recreation Area located approximately 5 minutes from the bridge.
  • Westfir Confluence Takeout gate will remain closed for the season but is accessible for recreational use. Please call Cascades Outdoor Center at 541-246-9007 or Westfir City Hall at 541-782-3983 for the gate code.

Willamette River – North Fork

Willow Creek Reservoir

  • Willow Creek Campground and ramp are open year-round with reduced services in the off season.

Willow Lake

  • Willow Lake Park boating access is open.

Wilson River

  • The river is floatable by drift boat or smaller watercraft below Mills Bridge. The upper reaches remain too low for drift boats but are accessible by raft or individual watercraft.  

Woahink Lake

  • Jessie M. Honeyman State Park and the East Woahink Lake boating access is open.

Wolf Creek Reservoir

  • The County ramp is open. Located approximately 10 minutes northwest of North Powder. Come for the day or stay at Pilcher Creek about 20 minutes west.  If want the trifecta experience can also camp and boat at Thief Valley Reservoir located about 45 minutes east.  These are beautiful areas to paddle, fish and recreate.

Yaquina Bay

  • The Port of Newport boating sites are open, and docks are floating. Check with Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay for bar conditions prior to launching. District Thirteen (uscg.mil)
