The season is changing, and with that comes seasonal closures, limited availability, and the operation of amenities such as docks and restrooms. This report also moves to a bi-monthly update. 

Make sure you plan ahead to ensure your put-in and take-out are both open. Facilities owned and operated by the Federal Government may not be. You can find contact information for facilities from our Boat Oregon Map. You can also check any special rules for boat operations by selecting the Boating Regulation data layer. 


Water treament for page content separation 

Acorn Woman Lakes (Jackson County)

• Acorn Worman Lakes Campground is open. This small lake, located approximately 20 minutes from Applegate Reservoir, is a great place for paddlers and is for nonmotorized use only.

Agate Lake (Jackson County)

• UPDATE: Agate Lake Boat launch is open. The lake is 22% full.

Agency Lake (Klamath County)
• UPDATE: Henzel Park and Petric Park boating access are open. Boarding docks are anticipated to be removed late October to early November, depending upon the weather.

Alsea River

• The Salmonberry Day Use is open, Campgrounds are closed as of October 1st. The boat ramp is open and usable.

• The Port of Alsea boat launch and kayak dock are open.

Ana Reservoir (Lake County)

• UPDATE: The boat ramp and boarding docks are open. Irrigation season has ended and water levels are low.

Antelope Reservoir (Malheur County)

• Antelope Reservoir campground and boating access are open. Located approximately 15 minutes west of Jordan Valley.

Antelope Flat Reservoir (Crook County)

• The Antelope Flat campground and boating access site is open. U.S. Forest Service requests that you do not park in the boat ramp loop, because it can block others from accessing the water.

Anthony Lakes (Baker County)

• Anthony Lakes Campground and boat launch season of use is July-September. The lake is open for paddling and electric motors only.

Applegate Reservoir (Jackson County)

• UPDATE: Hart-Tish boating access is closed. The water is 10' below the bottom of the boat ramp.

• UPDATE: The French Gulch boating access site has more than 50 feet of water over the end of the boat ramp.

• UPDATE: Copper boat ramp is unusable. Water level is 10 feet below the end of the boat ramp.

Badger Lake (Hood River County)

• Badger Lake Campground and primitive paddle access are open.

Ben Irving Reservoir (Douglas County)

• UPDATE: The boat ramp is open, but the docks are likely not available for use as water levels are lower than the dock access ramp. Water levels continue to drop at a rate of 4 inches per day.

Beulah Reservoir (Malheur County)

• UPDATE: The water level is approximately 3.5 feet below the bottom of the boat ramp. Paddlecraft can carry down.

Big Lake (Linn County)

• Big Lake West, Big Lake campgrounds, and Big Lake Day Use boating access sites' season of use are May-September.

Blue River Reservoir (Lane County)

• UPDATE: Saddle Dam boat ramp is open for carry-down access. The water is approximately 40 feet below the bottom of the boat ramp.

• Lookout Boat Launch is closed. Willamette National Forest | Lookout Boat Launch | Forest Service

Dexter Reservoir (Lane County)

• Lowell and Dexter State Park boat ramps are open, and the docks are floating. Water fluctuates between 7 and 10 feet over the bottom of the boat ramps. Please avoid power loading your boat on and off your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp, causing expensive repairs and permitting.

• Bradley Lake Boat Ramp is open. During late summer, the aquatic vegetation growth increases. Please do your part to protect waterways and your recreation by following Clean, Drain and Dry practices. Remove all vegetation from your boat trailer and vehicle as well.

Brownlee Reservoir (Baker County)

• ADVISORY: Oregon Health Authority has issued a recreational use advisory on August 1 for Brownlee Reservoir. Recreational use advisory issued for Brownlee Reservoir

• UPDATE: Farewell Bend State Park boating access is open. There is 13 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.

• UPDATE: Hewitt Park's low-water ramp and docks are open, with approximately 12 feet of water over the end of the ramp. Hewitt Park day-use ramp (middle ramp) is closed.

• UPDATE: Holcomb Park boat ramp is open. The water is approximately 3 foot over the bottom of the boat ramp. The docks have been removed due to low water. Do not power load your boat on or off the boat ramp. It causes damage.

• Moonshine Mine boat ramp is open. There is more than 20 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.

• UPDATE: The Spring Recreation Campground and boating access are open. The boarding docks have been removed for the season. Boaters can still launch at the low-water ramp. There is approximately 5 feet of water over the lower boat ramp.

Bully Creek Reservoir (Malheur County)

• ADVISORY: Oregon Health Authority issued on July 18 a recreational use advisory. Recreational use advisory issued for Bully Creek Reservoir

• The park and boat ramp are open. There is approximately 12 feet of water over the end of the boat ramp.

Campbell Lake (Lake County)

• Campbell Lake Campground and boat ramp are open. Located a little over an hour from Paisley, this lake is great for paddling or electric motorboats.

Cape Meares Lake (Tillamook County)

• Cape Meares Lake boat ramp is open. Use caution when launching, as you may encroach on Bay Ocean Rd.

Carmen Smith Reservoir (Lane County)

• U.S. Forest Service has closed Carmen Reservoir from the center of the reservoir up the high-water line and extends to the spillway area to the southwest and Forest Service Roads 2600-750 and 2600-751 to vehicle and pedestrian traffic through April 2027. Willamette National Forest | Carmen Reservoir Closure | Forest Service

Carter Lake (Douglas County)

• Carter Lake Campground and boat ramp are open. Located approximately 5 minutes south of Siltcoos Lake off Hwy 101. This narrow lake is great for paddlers and small motorized boats.

Cheadle Lake (Linn County)

• The boat ramp is open. Late summer and hot weather increase vegetation growth in the lake. Some areas may be challenging to paddle through.

Chetco River

• The Port of Brookings Harbor boat ramp and short-term tie-up dock are open. The pumpout and dump station is available.

• Alfred A. Loeb State Park access to the gravel bar is open. There is a drop off on the access to the gravel bar.

• Miller Bar, Nook Bar, Redwood Bar, and South Fork Campgrounds and Day Use areas have large drop-offs on the access to the gravel bar.

Chickahominy Reservoir (Harney County)

• The boat ramp and boarding docks are open. The BLM reports the reservoir is full as of 8/12/25.

Clackamas Lake

• UPDATE: Clackamas Lake Campground is closed for the season. This small, shallow lake is a great location, especially when Timothy Lake is busy.

Clackamas River

• Clackamette Park is open; however, the boat ramp is closed for safety. Paddlecraft may launch from shore.

• Carver Park and Barton Parks are open.

• Milo McIver State Park boat ramp is open.

• Moore Creek, Hole-in-the-Wall, Sandstone and Carter Bridge Boat Access sites are open.

• Fish Creek boat slide remains closed from the 2020 Fire. Mt. Hood National Forest | Fish Creek Campground & Day Use | Forest Service

Clear Lake (Linn County)

• Coldwater Cove is open for the season.

• Clear Lake Resort, Marina and boat ramp are open.

Cleawox Lake (Lane County)

• NEW: Honeyman State Park -  Effective Oct 6, 2025 – Oct 10, 2025 Cleawox Day Use area will be closed to entry 10/6/25- 10/10/25 for forest health management.  Public entry is restricted due to safety.

Coffenbury Lake (Clatsop County)

• Fort Stevens State Park boating access is open.

Cold Springs Reservoir (Umatilla County)

• Cold Springs primitive boating access is open. The reservoir is 7% full. Hydromet Pacific Northwest Region | Bureau of Reclamation.

Columbia River

•  UPDATE: M. James Gleason boating access is open. The pumpout and dump station are winterized. The contractor has mobilized. While the docks will remain open during the construction period, please be aware that partial and intermittent closures will be necessary for public safety and operational efficiency. • City of St Helens Courthouse docks are open. Expect heavy use between September 27 and October 31 due to Halloweentown events throughout the downtown area. The Portland Spirit will dock every weekend through October from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Water, power and pump out station are operating.

• The 17th Street Dock in Astoria is damaged and closed. The City anticipates replacement by spring 2026.

• Hammond Marina opens

• Rainier Marina is open and the pumpout and dump station are operational.

• Rainier Riverfront Park boat ramp is open and the parking area was recently renovated.

• The Donaldson Marina is now under Sundance. The pumpout is having intermittent issues, but is working.

• Sandy Beach (Schwitter Landing) tie-up dock was damaged. 24 feet of dock have been removed, and State Parks is working to determine the best course of action for repair. For questions, please contact Guy Rodrigue at guy.rodrigue@OPRD.oregon.gov.

• Chinook Landing ramp, docks and restrooms are open. The pumpout and dump stations are operational.

• Rooster Rock State Park boating access is open.

• The Port of Cascade Locks boat launch is open.

• Port of Hood River boat launch is open.

• Mayer State Park boating access is open.

• Port of The Dalles boating access and short-term tie-up dock are open. The pumpout and dump station are operational. The marine fuel station is operated by the Yacht Club and offers both diesel and gasoline.

• The Port of Arlington boat launch, marine fuel station, nonmotorized launch and tie-up dock are open.

• Boardman Marina and boat ramp are open.

• Irrigon Marina and boating access are open. The pump/dump station is available. For the latest information, call (541) 922-3225 or (541) 571-5725.

• Umatilla Marina boat ramp and docks are open.

• Hat Rock State Park is open.

Cooper Creek Reservoir (Douglas County)

• Cooper Creek East and West boating access sites are open and the docks are floating. Paddlers are encouraged to use the area adjacent to the boat ramp when preparing to launch or leave the waterbody.

Coos Bay

• California Street boating access has all docks installed.

• North Spit docks are installed.

• Eastside and Empire Boat Ramps are open, and the docks are installed.

• Charleston Marina and Boat ramp are open, the pumpout and dump station are open.

Coos River South Fork

• The upstream docks at the Myrtle Tree boat ramp are damaged. The docks along the boat ramp are usable.

Coquille River

• Sturdivant Park boat ramp and short-term tie-up dock are open.

• Bandon Marina and Boat Ramp are open.

• Bullard's Beach ramp is open, and the docks are installed.

• Riverton boat ramp is open.

• Coquille boat ramp is open for the season.

• The Arago boat ramp is open. Boarding docks are installed.

Cottage Grove Reservoir (Lane County)

• Lakeside Boat Ramp is open and there is approximately 23 feet of water over the end of the boat ramp.

• Wilson Creek boat ramp is closed for low water. Paddlecraft can carry down to launch. The water is approximately 8 feet below the bottom of the boat ramp.

Cougar Reservoir (Lane County)

• UPDATE: Slide Creek Campground and Echo Park are closed for the season. 

Crane Prairie Reservoir (Deschutes County)

• UPDATE: The Reservoir is approximately 70% full. Hydromet Pacific Northwest Region | Bureau of Reclamation

• Crane Prairie Day Use boating access site is open and has new, permanent boat docks.

• Crane Prairie Campground boat ramp is open.

• Browns Mountain boating access has a shallow slope. The location on the reservoir provides for calmer water and is a great place for paddlers to explore.

• Rock Creek boating access and campground are open.

• Quinn River boat launch and campground are open for the season. The ramp has a shallow slope.

• Crane Prairie Resort and Marina are open for the season.

• Cow Meadow Campground and boating access site are open for the season.

Crescent Lake (Klamath County)

• UPDATE: The lake is currently 20% full.

• Crescent Lake Campground low water ramp is open. The main ramp is out of the water. Spring Campground is open, but only paddlecraft can carry down.

Crystal Creek

• ADVISORY: Oregon Health Authority, July 24, issued a recreational use advisory for Upper Klamath Lake that includes the National Wildlife Refuge. This area includes the Malone Springs, Odessa and Rocky Point boating access sites Recreational use advisory issued for Upper Klamath Lake

• Malone Springs boat launch is open. This boating access is part of the Upper Klamath Canoe Trail. Your Guide to Paddling the Upper Klamath Canoe Trail

• Rocky Point ramp on Recreation Creek is open. It is about a five-mile paddle to Malone Springs or a ten-minute drive south. Trailered and non-trailered boats can use the boat ramp.

Cullaby Lake (Clatsop County)

• Carnahan County Park is open.

• Cullaby Lake Boating Access is open.

Cultus Lake (Deschutes County)

• Cultus Lake, Big Cove Boat-In, Little Cove Boat-In, and West Cultus Campgrounds are open for the season.

• Cultus Lake Day Use and boating sites are open.

• UPDATE: Cultus Lake Resort is closed for the season.

Davis Lake (Deschutes and Klamath Counties)

• East Davis Lake campground and boat launch are open for the season.

Deadhorse Lake (Lake County)

• Deadhorse Lake campground and boating access are open for the season. Located about 90 minutes southwest of Paisley. This is a nice place to paddle or use your electric motorboat.

Delintment Lake (Harney County)

• Delintment Lake Campground and boating access are open for the season.

Depoe Bay (Lincoln County)

• Depoe Bay boat ramp is open.

Depot Slough (Lincoln County)

• The Port of Toledo short-term tie-up docks, pumpout and dump station are open.

Deschutes River

• Miller's Landing Park accessible paddle launch is open. The Marine Board partially funded this nonmotorized boating access improvement. Bend Park & Recreation District received a Waterway Access Grant: Miller's Landing Park - Bend Park and Recreation District

• Heritage Landing is open. The scat machine is operational.

• Mecca Flat Campground entrance road is extremely rough, requiring 4WD. The ramp has a two-foot drop off at the end, boating launch is very difficult.

• Lava Island Falls (Big Eddy), Aspen, Dillon Falls, Slough Camp, and Besson, Harpers Bridge, Big River, Tetherow, Pringle Falls and Wyeth Take Out are open for the season.

• LaPine State Park boat ramp is severely damaged and only carry-down paddlecraft should use the boat ramp.

• Bull Bend and Tenino Boating Site are open.

Detroit Lake (Marion and Linn Counties)

• The low-water winter ramp is open. All other boat launch lanes are closed and no docks are available.

•  State Park G and D loop, Cove Creek, Hoover and Southshore boating access are closed. The boating access is out of the water and unusable for trailered boat access and not recommended for paddlecraft carry down.

• Kane's Marina and Detroit Lake Marina boat access are closed for the season.

Devils Lake (Deschutes)

• Devils Lake Campground is open for the season.

Devils Lake (Lincoln)

• Remember to clean, drain, dry and pull the plug for all boats, even inflatables. Help prevent the spread of aquatic vegetation to other waterbodies.

• Devils Lake State Recreation Area Day Use boating access site is open.

• Devils Lake State Park Campground and Marina are open

• Regatta Park and Holmes Road Park are open.

Dexter Reservoir (Lane County)

• Lowell and Dexter State Park boat ramps are open, and the docks are floating. Water fluctuates between 7 and 10 feet over the bottom of the boat ramps. Diamond Lake (Douglas County)

• Diamond Lake Campground, South Shore, North End and Thielsen View boating access sites are open and the docks are installed for the season.

• Diamond Lake Resort has a webcam so that you can view current conditions. Conditions | Diamond Lake Resort

Dog Lake (Lake County)

• Dog Lake Campground and boat ramp are open for the season.

Dorena Reservoir (Lane County)

• UPDATE: Baker Bay Marina and boat ramp are open. There is approximately 41 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.

• Harms Park boat ramp is closed to boat trailers. Paddlecraft can carry down. The water level is approximately 14 feet below the boat ramp.

East Lake (Deschutes County)

• East Lake and Cinder Hill Campgrounds, and Hot Springs Boating Site are open for the season.

• East Lake Resort is open.

Eel Lake (Coos County)

• William M. Tugman State Park boat launch and kayak launch are open.

Elk Lake (Deschutes County)

• Little Fawn Boating Site and Sunset View Day Use are open for the season.

• UPDATE: Elk Lake Campground is closed.

• UPDATE: Elk Lake Resort is closed for the season. Lodging & Resort Activities | Elk Lake Resort | Bend

Elk Lake (Marion County)

• Elk Lake Campground and paddling access are open.

Emigrant Lake (Jackson County)

• The lake is 27% full. Hydromet Pacific Northwest Region | Bureau of Reclamation

• The West boat ramp is closed due to low water.

• North boating access site is open.

Estacada Lake (Clackamas County)

• ADVISORY: There is limited access to this popular lake ALL waterway users need to be courteous to other users and activities. Do not block the boat ramp or docks and limit the amount of time in those areas.

• The Estacada Lake boating access in Milo McIver State Park is open.

• Timber Park nonmotorized launch is closed for 2025 for dam construction. Alternative launch locations can be found here: Timber_Launch_Alternatives_-_2025_Closure.pdf

Expo Pond (Jackson County)

• ALERT: There are Chinese mystery snails in the most northern pond. They are highly invasive and were illegally dumped in the pond. All nonmotorized boats and gear must be cleaned, drained and dried after every use. Do not move or transport the snails. Please do your part to protect waterways and your recreation by following Clean, Drain and Dry practices! (ODFW 7/29/25)

• Expo Pond primitive carry-down paddle access is open. The Ponds are located adjacent to the Southern Oregon RV Park and Jackson County Fairgrounds. Anglers are encouraged to harvest and remove illegally introduced carp.

Fall Creek Reservoir (Lane County)

• North Shore shallow ramp is open with approximately 45 feet of water over the end of the boat ramp.

• Cascara and Winberry boat ramps are closed due to low water.

Fern Ridge Reservoir (Lane County)

• The floating restroom has been removed for the season.

• UPDATE: Richardson Park Marina is open. There is approximately 2 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp. The pumpout and dump station are offline for the season. Boaters can use the pumpout and dump station at Orchard Point Marina.

• UPDATE: Orchard Point Marina is open. There is approximately 6 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp. The pumpout and dump station are open.

• UPDATE: Perkins Peninsula Park is open. The water is approximately 2 feet over the bottom of the boat ramp.

Fish Lake (Baker County)

• Fish Lake Campground and Boating access are open. The BLM reports the lake is full and the dock is in the water.

Fish Lake (Jackson County)

• The boating access is open and the reservoir is 42% full.

Floras Creek (Curry County)

• Boice Cope Campground and boat ramp are open.

Foster Reservoir (Linn County)

• The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has a video about water releases below Green Peter Dam. It Can Be Dangerous Below Dams #dams #water #safety

•  Sunnyside Park day use and boating access are open. Water levels are approximately at the launch ramp end.

• Gedney Creek boat ramp is open. The water is approximately 2.5 feet over the bottom of the ramp.

• UPDATE: Calkins Park is closed.

Fourmile Lake (Klamath County)

•  Fourmile Lake Campground and boating access are open. The boating access is a large gravel area with a gentle slope. The lake is approximately 9% full.

Galesville Reservoir (Douglas County)

• Chief Miwaleta County Park boat ramp is open and the docks are floating. The water level is being seasonally lowered.

Garrison Lake (Port Orford)

• 12th Street boat ramp and Pinehurst gravel ramp are open. Pinehurst is a great access site for paddlecraft to explore the lake.

Gerber Reservoir (Klamath County)

• UPDATE: The reservoir is approximately 52% full.

• The North and South boating access sites are open. Barnes Valley boating access is out of the water.

Gold Lake (Lane County)

• Gold Lake Day Use and Campground boating access is open.

Grande Ronde Lake (Union County)

• Grande Ronde Lake Campground is open. This is a great place to explore, especially when Anthony Lakes is busy.

Green Peter Reservoir (Linn County)

• Thistle Creek and Whitcomb Creek boating access is closed and the entrance road is gated.

Haystack Reservoir (Jefferson County)

• ADVISORY: Haystack reservoir is a recirculating system, and the water elevation goes up and down during the irrigation season. When reservoir storage is below 3,600 acre-feet or approximately 64% the West boat ramp will be closed. When it is above that level, it is normally open. Check here for current levels. Hydromet Pacific Northwest Region | Bureau of Reclamation (usbr.gov). It has been reported that there is toxic algae on the East Shore.

• UPDATE: The reservoir is 91% full.

• Haystack South is open for day use and camping.

• Haystack West Shore boat launch is open to trailered boat launching.

• Haystack East Campground and boat ramp are open.

Heart Lake (Lake County)

• Heart Lake boating access site is open for the season. The boat ramp and dock are in disrepair use caution when launching trailered boats or carrying down paddlecraft on the boat ramp.

Hells Canyon Reservoir (Wallowa County)

• ADVISORY: Oregon Health Authority on August 20 issued a recreational use advisory Recreational use advisory issued for Hells Canyon Reservoir.

• Hells Canyon Creek boat ramp and Visitors Center is open.

• Copperfield boat launch is open.

Hemlock Lake (Douglas County)

• Hemlock Lake campground and boating access are open. Located approximately 90 minutes from Roseburg, this 28-acre lake is a great place for paddlers and electric motorboats.

Henry Hagg Lake (Washington County)

• ADVISORY: Remember to check boat operation waterway rules. Boat Oregon Map. There is a 200 ft. slow -no wake zone around the entire perimeter of the lake. Boats operating east of the buoy line must move in a counterclockwise direction and not exceed 35mph. Protect your boating activities and follow the rules!

• UPDATE: Eagle Landing Boating Access (A Ramp) and C ramp boating access have approximately 20 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramps.

Hills Creek Reservoir (Lane County)

• UPDATE: The boat ramp is open and there is approximately 29 feet of water over the end of the boat ramp. As the water recedes, the ramp narrows from two lanes to one, and the docks are unavailable.

• UPDATE: CT Beach boating access closed. The water level is more than 30 feet below the bottom of the boat ramp. Paddlecraft launching is not recommended

• The Bingham boat launch water level is more than 40 feet below the bottom of the boat ramp. Paddlecraft launching is not recommended

Hosmer Lake (Deschutes County)

• Hosmer Lake Boating Site is open for the season. This is a very popular location for paddlecraft.

Howard Prairie Reservoir (Jackson County)

• Howard Prairie Resort boat ramp, marina, and gas pumps are open. The reservoir is 78% full. Hydromet Pacific Northwest Region | Bureau of Reclamation

• UPDATE: Grizzly Park, Klum Landing, and Willow Point Campground boating access facilities are open for the season.

Hyatt Lake (Jackson County)

• Cascade and Mountain View campgrounds and boating access are closed for the season because of the main waterline breaking.

• UPDATE: Wildcat Campground Boating access site is closed until September 30th.

• The reservoir is 71% full. Hydromet Pacific Northwest Region | Bureau of Reclamation

John Day River

• The road to Thirtymile Launch is recommended for 4x4 vehicles. If you are towing a trailer, plan to travel at speeds of 4mph. The road closes annually from December 15 to April 1

• J.S. Burres and Starvation Boat Ramp are open. Water flow is very low, check gages and scout ahead.

• Priest Hole Recreation Site is open.

Jubilee Lake (Union County)

• Jubilee Lake Campground and boating access are open. This beautiful lake is a nice place for paddlers to explore.

Kilchis River

• Parks Landing, Mapes Creek and Kilchis County Park boat launches are open for use. Mapes Creek boat ramp has a significant drop-off at the bottom of the ramp due to low flows. It should be fixed before the fall fisheries begin, but until then, boaters should use extreme caution and launch at their own risk.

Kinglsey Reservoir (Hood River County)

• Both campgrounds and boating will be closing on October 27.

• The Campground is open. The Campground has small primitive gravel launch points for paddlecraft to access the water.

• Kingsley Day Use and concrete boat ramp is open. Remember to check the waterway rules for boat operation. Boat Oregon Map

Klamath River

• ADVISORY: The Oregon section from Keno Dam to Spring Island Ramp is a technical water river classification III to IV+, and only very experienced whitewater boaters with advanced skillsets for self-rescue should recreate. Inexperienced boaters are encouraged to go with a registered outfitter guide to experience this evolving river. In Oregon, all boaters are required to wear a properly fitting U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jacket for any rivers with a Class III or higher rating. OSMB also encourages wearing a helmet while whitewater boating.

• Moonshine Falls is open 7:00 am-7:00 pm.

• UPDATE: Pioneer Park West is open 7:00 am-7:00 pm.

• The Spring Island Ramp is open.

• The Miller Island Ramp is open; one dock is sitting very low in the water. If more than one person is on the dock, it will submerge.

Krumbo Reservoir (Harney County)

• Krumbo boating access is located in the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge and is a good place to paddle or operate small boats with electric motors.

Lake Billy Chinook (Jefferson County)

• ADVISORY: Lake Billy Chinook will be approximately 2-3 feet lower than usual this winter for dam maintenance. Drawdown starts September 16; refill begins January 1. During this time, the Crooked River Day Use ramp should remain usable, but others, including Perry South and Upper and Lower Deschutes Day Use boat ramps, may not be usable.

• UPDATE: Perry South boat ramp is open. The campground is closed for the season.

• The primitive State Park access site is open for paddlers to carry down and explore the lake. Located approximately 5 minutes from Salmon Harbor.

Lake Selmac (Josephine County)

• Kellers Landing and McMullin Creek boat ramps are open. Remember to clean, drain, dry and pull the plug for all boats, including inflatables, to prevent the spread of aquatic vegetation to other waterbodies.

Lake of the Woods (Klamath County)

• Aspen Point, Sunset Campground, boating access, Rainbow Bay and Lake of the Woods Resort are open. The Lake of Woods Resort has a web camera on its website. Mountain Lodge in Southern Oregon | Cascades Resort in Southern Oregon

Lake Owyhee Reservoir (Malheur County)

• Kinnikinnick Campground and Day Use boating access are open. The road is rough at Eliot Creek and prone to washouts. High clearance vehicles only. No trailers.

Lemolo Lake (Douglas County)

• UPDATE: Black Canyon Campground is open, but the boat ramp is not usable, the water level is below the end of the ramp. Trailered boat use is not recommended. Paddlers can carry down.

Loon Lake (Douglas County)

• UPDATE: Loon Lake Recreation Site has closed as of September 30.

Lost Creek Reservoir (Jackson County)

• Luckiamute Landing is open year-round. The bridge accessing North Luckiamute State Natural Area (Crocker Road) is closed due to severe structural damage.

• Magone Lake Campground and boating access are open. This is a great lake for small boats and paddlecraft.

Malheur Reservoir

McKay Reservoir (Umatilla County)

Mercer Lake (Lane County)

• The road to Miller Lake is rough; slow down to avoid bouncing your boat around and items out of the boat.

Millicoma River

• Doris Place and Rooke-Higgins ramps are open.

Minam River

• Minam State Recreation Area boat launch is open. Parking in this area is day use only.

Moon Reservoir (Harney County)

• The boating access is open.

Morgan Lake (Union County)

• Morgan Lake Campground and boating area are open.

Multnomah Channel

• Hadley's Landing mooring dock is available for boaters; however, due to needed repairs, there is no access to the shore. State Parks is considering options for the very old dock.

Necanicum River

• The Necanicum is open to angling for the season.

• The SEF Johnson Tract boat ramp on Hwy 101 will be closed to vehicle access until the fall fisheries begin in mid-October. Walk-in access is still allowed.

• Quatat Marine Park and Cartwright Park boating access sites in Seaside are open. Gates can be opened and closed manually.

Nehalem Bay (Tillamook County)

• UPDATE: Nehalem Bay State Park boating access is open. The boarding docks are anticipated to be seasonally removed beginning October 20. This date may change depending upon the weather or other unexpected conditions. The docks are usually reinstalled in May.

• Wheeler Waterfront Park boat launch and dock are open.

Nehalem River

• Tillamook County Parks has placed rock at the bottom of the Nehalem County Park boat ramp to fill the large drop-off at the end of the boat ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and off your trailer. Power loading and unloading damages the lower portion of the boat ramp, causing expensive repairs and permitting.

• Roy Creek ramp, Nehalem H Street and Tohls Street docks are open.

Nestucca River

• Pacific City Boat Ramp has a drop-off at the end of the boat ramp. Use caution when launching and retrieving.

• Drift boat ramps at Borba Road slide, 4th bridge, 1st bridge, Farmer Creek, Three Rivers and Cloverdale are all open. Flows are too low for drift boats above the 1st bridge; kayaks and single-person float craft can still navigate these reaches, but may need to portage shallow areas.

• Fishers Point Boat Launch is open.

North Fork Reservoir (Clackamas County)

• UPDATE: North Fork Lower Ramp is open through October 26.

• Hestness Landing, Amacher Park, Whistler's Bend, Colliding Rivers, and Umpqua Landing are open.

• Bogus Creek raft launch is closed from the Archie Creek fire. The U.S. Forest Service is working on plans to rebuild the boating access.

Ochoco Reservoir (Crook County)

Oxbow Reservoir (Baker County)

• ADVISORY: Boaters and other users of Oxbow Reservoir should be aware that the reservoir level will be lower than normal for the rest of the year and into the first quarter of 2026 during a construction project to repair portions of the Oxbow Dam spillway. This change will not impact flows below Hells Canyon Dam.

• Oxbow Boat Launch is a day-use gravel boat ramp and dock. Located approximately ten miles downstream of Brownlee Dam and two miles upstream from Copperfield Park on Oregon Highway 71.

Pacific Ocean

• Cape Kiwanda, Sunset Bay State Park and Tolovana Launch are open.

Paulina Lake (Deschutes County)

• UPDATE:  Little Crater Boating Site is open. Paulina Lake Campgrounds and boat launches are closed.

Phillips Reservoir (Baker County)

• This primitive paddlecraft or small boat access is on Bureau of Land Management property; however, most of the surrounding land is private. Please respect the area by staying on main roads and by cleaning up so others can enjoy the fishery and boating access in the future.

Prineville Reservoir (Crook County)

• The boat moorage at Prineville State Park Day Use will close October 1.

• UPDATE: Prineville State Park Day Use is open year-round, and the docks are installed. There is approximately 17 feet of water over the end of the ramp.

• UPDATE: Jasper Point boat ramp is open, and the boarding docks are pulled to the top of the boat ramp and are unusable. The boat ramp and campground will close on October 31 for the season. The water is approximately 5 feet over the end of the ramp.

• UPDATE: Powderhouse Cove boating access is open; however, the end of the launch ramp is approximately 2 feet vertically out of the water.

Summit Lake (Clackamas County)

Suttle Lake (Jefferson County)

Tahkenitch Lake (Douglas County)

• Tahkenitch Landing Campground and boat ramp are open.

• Tenmile County Ramp is open. The center boat ramp lanes have a large hole at the end of the boat ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and off your trailer. Power loading and unloading damages the lower portion of the boat ramp, causing expensive repairs and permitting.

Thief Valley Reservoir (Union County)

• Wallowa County Park is open, and boarding docks are installed.

Walton Lake (Crook County)

• Walton Lake Campground and boating access is located approximately 40 minutes east of Prineville. This small lake is great for paddlers and small boats with electric motors.

Warm Springs Reservoir (Harney and Malheur Counties)

• UPDATE: The boat ramp is open, and the water is approximately 8 feet below the bottom of the boat ramp. The reservoir is 41% full.

Westport Slough (Clatsop County)

• Westport County Park boat ramp, short-term tie-up dock and paddle launch are open.

Wickiup Reservoir (Deschutes County)

• UPDATE: The reservoir is 33% full. Hydromet Pacific Northwest Region | Bureau of Reclamation

• Gull Point and Reservoir Campground Boating access is open. There is approximately 13 feet of water over the launch ramp end.

• North Wickiup Boating Site is open, the ramp is accessible, and the boarding docks have been installed. There is approximately 4 feet of water over the launch ramp end.

• North Davis Creek Campground and Boating Access are listed as closed due to significant hazard tree mitigation needs. Deschutes National Forest | North Davis Boating Site | Forest Service

Willamette River - Coast Fork

• Howard Buford Recreation Area primitive paddle access is open.

Lower Willamette River (Confluence with Columbia River to Willamette Falls)

• Foothills Park dock is open.

• St. John's Bridge in Cathedral Park continues to be under restoration. The project has been extended due to the need for more extensive concrete repairs. ODOT anticipates completing the work in Cathedral Park by March 2027, and all work will be completed by June 2027. • Milwaukie Bay Park is open.

• Tryon Cove, Foothills Park, George Rogers Park, and Cedaroak Boat Ramp are open.

• Meldrum Bar Park boat ramp is open and the docks are installed.

• Jon Storm Park and restrooms are open. The parking lot is currently closed for the I-205 widening project to allow construction access.

• Sportcraft Landing is open. The ODOT bridge contractor is working, so watch for barges and work boats in the area.

Middle Willamette River (Willamette Falls to Salem)

• Wallace Marine Park is open. Docks are anticipated to be removed between mid to late September and the life jacket loaner station will also close at that time. Survey work and some construction-related activities are happening related to the upcoming ODOT Center Street Bridge project.

• Hebb Park boat ramp and docks are open.

• Boones Ferry boat ramp is open for the season and the fuel station has been repaired.

• Bernert Landing and Willamette nonmotorized boating access are open.

• Molalla River State Park is open. Access into Molalla River State Park from Eilers Road is prohibited. Use the main entrance at River Park Place near the intersection of NE 37th Avenue and N Holly Street in Canby.

• Champoeg State Park is open.

• Rogers Landing boating access site is open. Paddlers are encouraged to use the beach area at the end of the access road. This area is near the single-car parking area and the restroom.

• Keizer Rapids Park is open.

Upper Willamette River (Salem to Eugene)

• Independence Riverview Park nonmotorized launch and Buena Vista County Park are open.

• Bowman Park, Takena Landing, Hyak Park, and North Riverfront Park (Michael's Landing) are open.

• Willamette Park Boat Ramp is open. The dock is installed

• Peoria Park, McCartney Boat Ramp, and Harrisburg are open.

• Whitely Landing and Island Park are open.

Willamette River – Middle Fork

• Clearwater Park is open.

• Jasper Bridge boating access is closed. There are no plans to reopen the site. Paddlers can carry down at Jasper State Park

• Pengra Access has a single ramp open.

• The Middle Fork Boat Ramp near Dexter Dam is closed through the summer of 2026 for the Dexter Fish Facility Upgrade. The exact construction completion date is unknown.

Willamette River – North Fork of the Middle Fork

• The Westfir take-out, also known as Turtle Island Park, is open.

Willow Creek Reservoir (Morrow County)

• UPDATE: Turner Day Use Park boat ramp and the docks are out of the water. The water is more than 17 feet below the bottom of the boat ramp. Paddlecraft can be carried down to launch.

Willow Lake (Jackson County)

• The ramp is open. Anglers are encouraged to harvest undersized yellow perch and small mouth bass, both illegally introduced. (ODFW 6/18/25)

• UPDATE: The lake is 47% full. Hydromet Pacific Northwest Region | Bureau of Reclamation

Wilson River

• The river is very low for drift boat use. Kayaks and single-person float craft can still navigate these reaches but may need to portage shallow areas.

• Sollie Smith boat ramp, Mills Bridge, Siskeyville, and Vanderzandan boat access are all open.

Woahink Lake (Lane County)

• East Woahink Lake boat ramp is open year-round.

Wolf Creek Reservoir (Union County)

• The water level is below the bottom of the boat ramp. Trailered boats cannot launch. Paddlecraft can carry down.

Yaquina Bay (Lincoln County)

• The Port of Newport boating sites are open. Check with Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay for bar conditions prior to launching. District Thirteen (uscg.mil)

Yaquina River

  • Airport boat ramp has a large drop-off at the bottom of the boat ramp. Use caution when launching. Please avoid power loading your boat on and off your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp, causing expensive repairs and permitting.

• The Port of Toledo paddle dock is open.

Yellowjacket Reservoir (Harney County)

• UPDATE: Yellowjacket Campground is closed due to the Falls Fire closure.

The Forest Service campground is under administrative closure from August 15, 2025, to December 31, 2025. However, Yellowjacket Lake and boat ramp are open from Forest Service Road 37 from the west terminus (FSR 47 junction) to FSR 3745 Malheur National Forest | Malheur Falls Post Fire Hazards Closure | Forest Service

Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife shared that the contractor will be installing piling the week of October 6 and the gangway and docks will be installed the week of October 13 in the day-use and paddlecraft access area located approximately 900 feet north of the Forest Service boat ramp. The new dock will have an area for anglers and an area for nonmotorized boat launching.
