Agate Lake

  • This small lake is a great place to practice your paddling skills and enjoy some fishing. The ramp is open, and the lake is full.

Agency Lake

  • Henzel and Petric Park's boat ramps are open and boarding docks are installed.

Applegate Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Hart-Tish, Copper and French Gulch boating access sites are open and have more than 55 feet of water over the bottom of the ramp.

Ana Reservoir

  • NEW: The boat ramp is open, and fishing has been good. 

Ben Irving Reservoir

  • The boat ramp and the dock open.

Beulah Reservoir

  • Beulah Reservoir is full.

Big Lake

Blue River Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Saddle Dam boat ramp and Lookout boat ramp are open. There is more than 20 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp. The reservoir is full.

Brownlee Reservoir

  • UPDATE: The Hewitt Park boat ramp is open, and the moorage and fishing docks are floating. The new vault toilet has been installed. There is approximately 35ft of water at the end of the ramp. 
  • The Spring Recreation Campground and both boat ramps are open, and docks are installed. The water is approximately 18 feet over the end of the boat ramp. 
  • The Holcomb Park boat ramp is open. The water level is 26 feet over the bottom of the boat ramp.
  • Farewell Bend State Park is open and the water level is approximately 36 feet over the bottom of the boat ramp. 

  • Moonshine Mine's boat ramp is open. There is approximately 47 feet of water at the bottom of the boat ramp.

Bully Creek Reservoir

  • The water is approximately 35 feet over the bottom of the boat ramp. The docks are installed and floating.

Carmen Smith Reservoir

  • The closure has been extended to the spring of 2025.

Chickahominy Reservoir

  • The lake is nearly full, and the boat ramp is open.

Clackamas Lake

  • The tentative opening date is May 26, depending on the snow conditions. Plan ahead. When Timothy Lake campgrounds are full, consider going here and enjoy paddling on this small, shallow lake.

Clackamas River

  • Moore Creek, Sandstone, and Hole-in-the-Wall boating access sites are open. Areas along the Clackamas River are still heavily impacted by wildfire. Visitors are recommended to exercise caution if pulling out at non-designated areas.

Clear Lake (Linn County)

  • Boat access is open for paddlecraft.

Coast Fork-Willamette River

  • The Highway 58 bridge at Dilley Lane is part of the larger Lower Salt Creek Bridge project for seismic retrofits and scour protection. The boating access will be closed during construction. The Federal Highway Administration is working with the contractor for an anticipated schedule. The work may happen as early as June 2023 or sometime in 2024 or 2025. Coffenbury Lake

  • Fort Stevens State Park Boat Launch is open, and the lake is full.

Cold Springs Reservoir

  • Cold Springs Reservoir is approximately 58% full. 

Columbia River

  • UPDATE: Chinook Landing's pumpout and dump station are operational.
  • The City of St. Helens Courthouse Docks are open and the pumpout and dump station are operational. There will be some construction in the park throughout the summer; however, access will remain open. The bull rails on the docks are in poor condition so larger vessels operators should be cautious when tying up.
     
  • City of St. Helens Sand Island North and South are open.

Cooper Creek Reservoir

  • Cooper Creek East and West boat ramps are open, and the docks are installed.

Coos Bay

  • UPDATE: The Empire Boat Ramp has one set of docks installed. 

Coquille River

  • The Bullards Beach docks are installed, and the facilities are open.

Cottage Grove Reservoir

  • Lakeside Boat Ramp is open, and the docks are floating. There is approximately 40 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
  • Wilson Creek Boat Ramp is open. There is approximately seven feet of water over the end of the ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat onto and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.

Cougar Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Slide Creek Campground is open; however, the water is approximately 40 feet below the bottom of the ramp. Paddlers can carry down but the terrain is difficult.
  •  Echo Park remains closed. The water is approximately 55 feet below the bottom of the boat ramp.

Crane Prairie

  • UPDATE: Crane Prairie Boat Ramp is open, and the dock is installed.
  • Crane Prairie Resort is open. The Resort is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

  • Quinn River and Rock Creek boat ramps are open. The campgrounds are closed. Crane Prairie Reservoir is 88% full. The docks are not installed. To monitor when docks will be installed, check here: Deschutes National Forest - Home (usda.gov)

Crescent Lake

  • UPDATE: Crescent Lake Campground is closed. The reservoir is 16% full.

Crystal Creek

  • Malone Springs Day Use is located approximately 45 minutes northwest of Klamath Falls. This small paddle access is part of the Upper Klamath Canoe Trail that meanders through marshes and is part of the Upper Klamath National Wildlife Refuge. Upper Klamath Canoe Trail in Oregon | Paddling.com

Davis Lake

  • The Lake level is still very low. Limited boat launching is available at North Lava Flow Campground and West Davis day use site.

Depoe Bay

Deschutes River

  • Heritage Landing is open, and the ramp is in the water. There is no dock at this facility. The sand bar at the mouth of the Deschutes may result in reduced access to the Columbia River during periods of low water. 

Detroit Lake

  • NEW: Provide comments to Marion County about Detroit Marinas Excavation and Resiliency Project. The last day to comment on options is May 31. Home (detroitmarinas.com)
  • UPDATE: Water at State Park D is fluctuating at the bottom of the ramp. Please avoid power loading your boat on and from your trailer. Power loading and unloading can damage the lower portion of the boat ramp causing expensive repairs and permitting.
     
  • UPDATE: Hoover Campground is open and has 17 feet of water over the bottom of the ramp.
     
  • Cove Creek campground is open and has 19 feet of water over the bottom of the ramp.
     
  • Southshore has 18 feet of water over the bottom of the ramp.
     
  • The Mongold upper boat ramp is open, and the docks are floating.
     
  • Kane's Marina is open.
  • State Park G Loop has 30 feet of water over the bottom of the ramp.

Dexter Reservoir

  • NEW: Dexter State Recreation Boat Ramp will be closed May 25-28th for the Tim Selinske US Masters Disc Golf Championships.
  • Lowell and Dexter State Park boat ramps are open except for event closure as noted above. Water is approximately 10 feet above the bottom of the ramps. 

Diamond Lake

  • The North End boat ramp and restrooms are open. The South End and Thielson View are still closed for the season.

Dorena Reservoir

  • Baker Bay boat ramp is open and has more than 65 feet of water over the bottom of the ramp.
  • Harms Park boat ramp is open. There is approximately 10 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp. 

Dog Lake

  • Dog Lake Campground and Boat Launch are open.

Duncan Reservoir

  • NEW: Located near Silver Lake off Highway 31 is open. This is a great location for paddling.

Eel Lake

  • William M. Tugman State Park boat launch and kayak launch are open.

Emigrant Lake

  • UPDATE: The lake is 73% full. The North ramp is open, and the West ramp has one lane open. Use caution - the inflow of water is creating high levels of wood and debris throughout the lake.

Estacada Lake

  • Timber Park's nonmotorized boat launch is open. A new $5.00 parking permit is required and can be paid for by credit card at the fee machines. A $40 season pass is available by calling or emailing: 503-464-8515, pgeparks@pgn.com.

Fall Creek Reservoir

  • UPDATE: North Shore low water ramp is open. The water is 21 feet over the end of the ramp. All other ramps are out of the water and gated, for now.

Faraday Lake

  • The lake, park, and surrounding areas are closed for construction. Parking near the bridge and access to all areas across the bridge (Southeast of the Clackamas River) are closed. The area is anticipated to be reopened in 2023. Faraday Lake (portlandgeneral.com)

Fern Ridge Reservoir

  • Perkins Peninsula Park is open. There is approximately 5 feet of water at the bottom of the ramp.
  • Fern Ridge Shores has more than six feet of water at the bottom of the ramp.

  • Orchard Point Marina is open. There is approximately nine feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
  • Richardson Park Marina is open. There is approximately eight feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.

Foster Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Calkins Park Boat Ramp is open with approximately six feet of water over the end of the boat ramp.
  • UPDATE: Gedney Creek is open and there is 18 feet of water over the end of the boat ramp.
     
  • Sunnyside Boat ramp is open. The water is approximately 25 feet over the end of the ramp.

 
Fourmile Lake

  • Fourmile Lake Campground and boat ramp is closed.USFS anticipates reopening in July. The reservoir is approximately 51% full.

Galesville Reservoir

  • Chief Miwaleta ramp is open. The County has removed the docks for repair. There is significant woody debris floating, so keep a lookout when boating.

Gold Lake

  • Access is closed from the Cedar Creek Fire Emergency. The Forest Order identifies the closure is in effect through June 25, 2023, unless rescinded sooner: fseprd1049655.pdf (usda.gov). As of May 10, U.S. Forest Service is requesting people not to drive on closed roads. They are monitoring the snow and road conditions and will open the gate as soon as the road becomes passable and safe for travel. For updates, call the Gold Lake information line at 541-782-5235.

Green Peter Reservoir

  • Thistle Creek and Whitcomb Creek boat ramps are open. Boarding docks are available. Floating restrooms are installed. Watch for woody debris.

Green Point Reservoir/ Kinglsey Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Kingsley Campground and boat ramp are open.

Haystack Reservoir

  • UPDATE: The boat ramp is open, and the docks are floating. The reservoir is 92% full.

Heart Lake

  • Heart Lake Landing is open and accessible via Fishhole Creek Road (Forest Road 3790).

Hells Canyon Reservoir

  • Copperfield boat launch is open, and the dock is floating.

Henry Hagg Lake

  • Ramp A and C are open, and the reservoir is full.

Hills Creek Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Packard Creek Boat Ramp is open and there is approximately 72 feet of water over the bottom of the ramp.
  • UPDATE: Bingham boat ramp is open. However, water is approximately seven feet below the bottom of the ramp.
     
  • UPDATE: CT Beach is open. The water level is approximately six feet over the bottom of the ramp. This is a nice location for paddlers to carry down.

Holbrook Reservoir

  • Holbrook Reservoir Campground is open and accessible via Fishhole Creek Road (Forest Road 3790)

Howard Prairie Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Klum Landing Campground opens May 26; however, the boat ramp is closed due to low water levels.

  • UPDATE: Willow Point Campground opens May 26; however, the boat ramp is closed due to low water levels. 
  • UPDATE: Howard Prairie Resort is open.  The new marina docks are being installed. Please use caution when boating in the area. The water level is approximately 51% full. Small boats can use the unimproved access near the dam.

Hyatt Lake

  • UPDATE: The lake is 58% full. Water is at the bottom of the C Loop ramp. However, it remains closed due to the snowpack. BLM anticipates opening the C Loop ramp and Wildcat Campground for Memorial Day Weekend. All other camping facilities at the Hyatt Lake Recreation Area will be closed in 2023 for utility upgrades. Kinglsey Reservoir/Green Point Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Kingsley Campground and boat ramp are open.

Lake Billy Chinook

  • UPDATE: Perry South Day Use is open.
  • Cove Palisades Resort and Marina are open for the summer.
     
  • Crooked River Day Use and Upper Deschutes Day Use boat ramps are open.

Lake Harriet

  • Lake Harriet Campground and Day Use area are open.

Lake Marie

  • Umpqua Lighthouse State Park is open to paddlecraft. Paddlers must carry down. There is no formal launch or dock.

Lake of the Woods

  • NEW: Aspen Point, Sunset Campground, and Rainbow Bay boating access sites are open.

Lake Owyhee Reservoir

  • UPDATE: The reservoir is 79% full. Gordon Gulch and Indian Creek boat ramps are open and docks are floating.
  • Leslie Gulch boat ramp is open.

Lake Simtustus

Lofton Reservoir

  • UPDATE: Fees are being collected at a rate of $6 pe night for a single unit and $2 per night per extra vehicle. Lofton Reservoir is open and accessible via Fishhole Creek Road (Forest Road 3790).

Lookout Point Reservoir

  • NEW: Signal Point Ramp will be closed on May 29th beginning at 4:00 pm through June 2nd for construction.
  • Black Canyon's water level is approximately five feet below the boat ramp.

Loon Lake

  • The Loon Lake Recreation Site is closed and due to reopen during Memorial Day Weekend. The East Shore Day Use Area is open year around. Paddlecraft can carry down from the Day Use Area.

Lost Creek Reservoir

  • Joseph Steward and Takelma boating access sites have more than 50 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramps. 

Luckiamute River

  • Luckiamute Landing is open.

McKenzie River

  • Silver Creek Boat Launch is open. Please be careful as the viewing platform has not yet been rebuilt since the Holiday Farm Fire.
  • Deerhorn, Forest Glen, Goodpasture, Greenwood, Hayden Bridge, Helfrich, Leaburg Landings, Bellinger, Armitage, Hamlin, Hendricks Bridge Parks are open.

  • Approximately ¼ mile below Ollalie Campground there is a full-spanning strainer. To find or report boating obstructions or hazards visit Boating Obstruction Reporting Tools (arcgis.com).
     
  • Ben and Kay Dorris State Park: the single boat ramp is open. There are no park facilities due to damage from the Holiday Fire.
     
  • Frisell and Paradise Boat Launches are open.
     
  • McKenzie Bridge Boat Launch is open.
     
  • Bruckart Boat Launch is open.

Mercer Lake

  • Mercer Lake Landing is open.

Middle Fork Willamette River

  • UPDATE: The Middle Fork boat ramp near the Dexter Dam will be closed beginning September 11, 2023, through the Summer of 2026. The exact construction completion date is currently unknown. The closure is for the Dexter Fish Facility Upgrade. 
  • The Westfir takeout, also known as Turtle Island Park, is on the North Fork of the Middle Fork Willamette River. This facility is open for the season.

  • Pengra Access ramp is open.

Morgan Lake

  • Morgan Lake is open.

Munsel Lake

  • Munsel Lake is open.

Neawana Creek

  • NEW: Broadway Park boating access is open.

Necanicum River

  • NEW: Quatat Marine Park and Cartwright Park boating access sites in Seaside are open.

North Fork Reservoir

  • NEW: Promontory Park and North Fork Lower Launch are open.

North Santiam River

  • Buell Miller Boat Ramp is open.
  • Lyons-Mehama and Stayton Bridge boat ramps are open.

North Twin Lake

  • UPDATE: Campground and Boating access is open.

North Umpqua River

  • Boulder Flat raft launch, Horseshoe Bend raft launch and Gravel Bin are open.

  • Horseshoe Bend campground is closed.

Ochoco Lake

  • UPDATE: The reservoir is 72% full. The boat launch is open, and four docks are floating.

Odell Lake

  • Sunset Cove is open.

Olalla Reservoir

  • The boat launch is open, and the reservoir is full.

Paulina Lake

  • Hazard tree inspectors identified more than 300 hazard trees within Paulina Lake Campground. Crews removed a majority of these trees last fall; however, some hazard tree removal work remains. The remaining hazard tree work will resume as soon as snow levels permit this spring. In anticipation of this work, the opening date for Paulina Lake Campground will be delayed by two weeks to June 30. Deschutes National Forest - Paulina Lake Campground (usda.gov)

Pilcher Creek Reservoir

  • Pilcher Creek site is open, and the reservoir is 75% full.

Plat I Reservoir

  • The reservoir is full and open for recreation.

Port of Brookings Harbor

  • NEW: The Port of Brookings has a number of activities planned for the summer. https://www.portofbrookingsharbor.com/

    • Curry County Cruisers: May 27 - May 28

Port of Garibaldi

  • Both floating restrooms are installed.
  • The Public Restroom remodel is scheduled to be completed by mid-June.

Port of Newport

  • All boating sites are open, and docks are floating. Check with Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay for bar conditions prior to launching. District Thirteen (uscg.mil)

Port of Siuslaw

  • The boat ramp is open and boom logs have been removed for the season.

Prineville Reservoir

  • Prineville State Park Day Use is open. The boarding docks are damaged and being repaired. The Moorage Dock is not installed.
  • Powderhouse Cove's boat ramp is open, and the dock is installed.
     
  • Prineville reservoir is full. The Bureau of Reclamation is expecting to surcharge the reservoir, resulting in levels in excess of 6 feet above full pool. Be cautious when using the swim area because it is collecting debris. 

Rogue River

  • NEW: Robertson Bridge boat landing will be closed to the public for boat racing May 27 through May 29th.
  • The Boatnik 2023 Sprint and Drag Boat Racing event is scheduled for May 26 through the 29th. https://www.boatnik.com/schedule.html
     
  • Chinook County Park, Ferry Hole, Galice, Griffin Park, Hog Creek, Lathrop, Matson, Pierce Riffle, Schroeder Park, and Ennis Riffle are open. The water is high and the current is strong.
     
  • Dees Landing (Coyote Evans Wayside) is open. New signage will be installed for reserved trailer parking.
     
  • TouVelle and Valley of the Rogue State Park boat launches are open.
     
  • Access at Argo Recreation Site is closed until further notice due to the Rum Creek Fire. The road is closed just past Alameda Campground to the Grave Creek Bridge.
     
  • Access to Grave Creek boat launch is accessible via Lower Grave Creek Road.
     
  • Almeda boat launch and Rand River Access is open.
     
  • Baker Park boat ramp is open. Security cameras have been upgraded at this location.
     
  • Casey, Rogue Elk, Shady Cove, and Dodge Bridge access sites are all open.

Siletz River

  • Moonshine Boat Ramp in Lodgsen is closed. There is a tree approximately 1 mile downstream of Moonshine Park that spans the river. Due to high water levels, obstruction cannot be removed at this time. Boating Obstruction Reporting Tools (arcgis.com)
  • Old Mill Park is open, and the ramp is in the water. 
  • Hee Hee Ilahee is open, and the ramp is in the water.

Siltcoos Lake

  • Westlake County Park is open.

Siuslaw River

  • Bender Landing, Deadwood, Farnham, Mapleton, Schindler, Tiernan, Konnie Memorial, Tide County Parks and Linslaw are open.

Snake River

  • Ontario State Park boarding docks have some broken decking. Use caution when using the dock. 
  • Dug Bar and Pittsburg Landing Campground are all open.
     
  • Hells Canyon Creek boat launch is closed.

South Santiam River

  • Waterloo County Boat Ramp is open.

Spring Creek

  • NEW: Spring Creek Day Use is open.
  • UPDATE: Collier Memorial Park is open.

Summit Lake

  • Summit Lake is closed due to snowpack.

Suttle Lake

  • NEW: Blue Bay, Link Creek, South Shore, and Suttle Lake Boating access sites are open, and docks are installed.

Tahkenitch Lake

  • The Tahkenitch boat ramp is damaged and is temporarily closed. The U.S. Forest Service is converting several campsites in the campground to day-use only to help accommodate boating access.

Tenmile Lake

  • Tenmile County Ramp will have intermittent sidewalk construction, weather dependent over the next few weeks. All the work is anticipated to be completed before Memorial Day weekend. 

Thief Valley Reservoir

  • Thief Valley Reservoir is full, and the boat ramp is open. The dock has been installed.

Thompson Reservoir

  • NEW: Eastbay campground is open. Fees are being collected at a rate of $10 per night for a single unit and $5 per night per extra vehicle.
  • NEW: Thompson Reservoir Campground is open. Fees are being collected at a rate of $6 per night for a single unit and $2 per night per extra vehicle.

Timothy Lake

  • UPDATE: North Arm, Oak Fork, Pine Point, and West Shore Day Use areas are open.

Triangle Lake

  • Triangle Lake Park is open.

Trojan Pond

  • Trojan Park is open year-round for paddling and day use.

Tualatin River

  • The Rood Bridge Park boat launch is open.
  • The Stark (Rivergrove) Boat Launch may not be usable due to recent work.  Check with the City to see if the launch is open.
     
  • The Farmington Boat Launch restroom building is closed. Portable restrooms are available. 

Turner Lake

  • North Turner Lake is open.

Umpqua River

  • Scottsburg Park ramp is open, and docks are installed.

Upper Klamath Lake

  • The floating restroom is installed near Bare Island.
  • Odessa campground and ramp are open.
     
  • Rocky Point Boat Launch is open and accessible.
     
  • Wocus Bay ramp and docks are open.

Unity Reservoir

  • The reservoir is full, and docks have been installed.

Waldo Lake

  • Access is closed from the Cedar Creek Fire Emergency. The Forest Order identifies the closure is in effect through June 25, 2023, unless rescinded sooner. fseprd1049655.pdf (usda.gov). Wallowa Lake

  • Wallowa County Park and Wallowa Lake State Park are open, and docks are floating.

Warm Springs Reservoir

  • The boating access is open and the reservoir is full.

Wickiup Reservoir

  • North Wickiup Boating access is open. The fish cleaning station is not open yet.  The reservoir is 60% full.

Lower Willamette (Columbia River to Willamette Falls)

  • NEW: Milwaukie Bay Park boarding docks are scheduled to be installed on May 24th between 8 am and 12 noon.

  • Swan Island boat ramp property is owned by the City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services (BES). BES has determined the property is no longer needed for ongoing operations. If no Portland bureau or office indicates interest in purchasing the project, it will be sold as surplus property.   • Sportcraft Landing, the boat ramp, boarding docks, and lower parking area are open. The ODOT bridge contractor is working, so watch for barges and work boats in the area.
     
  • Jon Storm Park dock, restrooms, and pumpout and dump station are open, but the parking lot will be closed until the completion of the I-205 bridge widening project.

Middle Willamette (Willamette Falls to Salem)

  • NEW: Boones Ferry boarding docks have been replaced and the boat ramp is open.
  • NEW: Memorial Weekend Boat Races are scheduled for May 27th from 10 am to 7 pm. An assortment of outboard hydroplane and runabout racing craft will compete for points on an approximate ¾ mile oval course.   • The Hebb Park Ramp is open, and the docks are installed for the season.

Upper Willamette (Salem to Eugene)

  • Willamette Ramp in Corvallis is open. Floating docks are scheduled to be installed by Memorial Day.
  • Whitley Landing is open.
  • McCartney Boat Ramp is open.
     
  • Peoria Park Boat Ramp is open.

Willamette River – Middle Fork

  • UPDATE: The Middle Fork boat ramp near the Dexter Dam will be closed beginning September 11, 2023, through Summer 2026.  The exact construction completion date is currently unknown. The closure is for the Dexter Fish Facility Upgrade.

  • Wood River Day Use area is open. There is carry-down paddle access.
