While many boating sites throughout the state are open year-round and are not closed seasonally, many of them become unreachable or inaccessible during the winter and early spring months. Be sure to plan ahead and confirm conditions at any year-round locations you may wish to visit in the off season.
Agate Lake
- UPDATE: The boat ramp is currently out of water and the lake bed is very muddy.To avoid damaging the boat ramp and making it difficult to launch when the water level rises, launching is not recommended at this time. The the lake is 13% full.
Agency Lake
Antelope Reservoir (Malheur County)
- This boating access is open. The gravel ramp is great for small boats and paddlecraft. This is a nice place to paddle and fish. This site is scheduled to close in October.
Anthony Lakes
- NEW: Snow fell at Anthony Lakes and then just as quickly it turned to rain-snow mix. Check the weather and road conditions before heading out to enjoy a late fall paddle.
Applegate Reservoir
- UPDATE: Copper ramp is a primitive boat launch which consists of a paved roadbed leading into the lake, the pavement turns to dirt as the reservoir recedes. The water is approximately seven feet below the bottom of the ramp.
- UPDATE: French Gulch boating access site is open year-round and has more than 55 feet of water over the bottom of the ramp. Graveled roadbed that drops into the French Gulch Arm of Applegate Lake and provides low-water access for fall and winter use of the Lake. Roadway / boat ramp follows the receding lake level, providing the only boating access when the water dips below 1,928 feet elevation.
- Hart-Tish ramp is closed for the season.

- UPDATE: Water is five feet below the bottom of the boat ramp. Trailered launching is not permitted at this time.
Big Lake
- UPDATE: Big Lake West, Big Lake campgrounds, and Big Lake Day Use boating access sites are scheduled to be open until October 1st.
Blair Lake

Blue River Reservoir

Boulder Lake
Bradley Lake
- Bradley Lake boat ramp and docks are open. Once you get past the lilies around the launch and dock area, the lake opens up. This is a nice place to explore on paddlecraft.
Brownlee Reservoir
- UPDATE: The Holcomb Park boat ramp is closed for the season.
- UPDATE: Farewell Bend State Park has some broken decking on the boarding docks and one lane of the boat launch is full of woody debris. Open for day use year-round. The water level is approximately 14 feet over the bottom of the boat ramp.
- UPDATE: Moonshine Mine boat ramp is open. There is approximately 31 feet of water at the bottom of the boat ramp.
- The Spring Recreation Campground, both boat ramps, and the docks are open year-round. The water is currently four feet below the end of the boat ramp.
- The Hewitt Park main boat ramp is closed, and the moorage and fishing docks were removed. The Hewitt low-water ramp is open year-round. Campground closes at the end of September. There is approximately 13 feet of water at the end of the ramp.
Bully Creek Reservoir
- UPDATE: The docks are installed and floating with 17 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
Campbell Lake
- Campbell lake campground and the boat ramp are scheduled to be open through mid-October.
Carmen Smith Reservoir
- The closure has been extended to the spring of 2025.
Chickahominy Reservoir
Clackamas Lake
- Clackamas Lake Campground is scheduled to close in September. This small, shallow lake is a great place to go paddling.
Clackamas River
- Milo McIver's upper boat ramp is severely undermined and out of the water.
- Moore Creek and Hole-in-the-Wall Boat Access sites are open year-round. The areas along the Clackamas River are still heavily impacted by wildfire. Visitors are recommended to exercise caution if pulling out at non-designated areas. Mt. Hood National Forest - Fire Management (usda.gov)
Clear Lake (Linn County)
Clear Lake (Wasco County)
- Clear Lake Campground is scheduled closed for the season.
Coast Fork-Willamette River
- The Highway 58 bridge at Dilley Lane is part of the larger Lower Salt Creek Bridge project for seismic retrofits and scour protection. The boating access will be closed during construction. The Federal Highway Administration is working with the contractor for an anticipated schedule. The work may happen as early as 2024 or 2025. Coffenbury Lake
- Fort Stevens State Park Boat Launch is open year-round.
Columbia River
- UPDATE: The restrooms at Port of The Dalles are open. The boat ramp, short-term tie-up dock, and pumpout and dump station are open. The marine fuel station is operated by the Yacht Club and offers fuel, both diesel and gasoline.
- Hat Rock State Park is open year-round.
- Chinook Landing is open year-round and their public dockside pumpout and dump station is operational.
- State Parks recommends using caution from September 2023 – April 2024 when launching or paddling in the boat basin at Rooster Rock State Park, due to dramatically fluctuating water levels on the Columbia River.
- M. James Gleason restroom facility is currently closed. Portable toilets are available while repairs are underway.
- The floating restroom at Government Island near McGuire Island is installed.
- Hammond and Warrenton Marinas are open.
- The City of St. Helens Courthouse Docks are open and the pumpout and dump station are operational. The bull rails on the docks are in poor condition – larger vessels should use caution.
- Irrigon Marina is open and the pumpout station is operational.
- Sand Island North and South camping are scheduled to be open until November 1st. Camping on the Department of State Lands portion of the island is free.
Cooper Creek Reservoir
- The City of Sutherlin has installed two “SolarBees" near the dam. They are to improve water quality by turning over the water. Boaters should be cautious when operating near that area and need to avoid this equipment.
- Cooper Creek East and West boat ramps are open.
Coos Bay
- North Spit docks are not installed and there is significant sand at the bottom of the ramp.
- The Empire Boat Ramp has one set of docks installed.
- The California Street boat ramp and docks are open.
Coos River
- Myrtle Tree boat ramp is open year-round.
Coquille River
- Sturdivant Park's boat ramp is open, and the docks are floating. Water levels are tidally influenced. The fish cleaning station is available for use.
- Riverton boat ramp is open.
- Arago boat ramp is open. The boarding docks are installed.
- Coquille Boat Ramp is closed for launching, but paddlecraft can carry down to the water.
Cottage Grove Reservoir
- UPDATE: Lakeside Boat Ramp is open year-round. The dock is not currently floating. There is approximately 30 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
- UPDATE: Wilson Creek Boat Ramp is closed for the season.
Cougar Reservoir
Crane Prairie
- The Rock Creek boat ramp, docks and campground are closed for the season.
- Crane Prairie Day Use boating access is open. Looking down the boat ramp, the launch lane on the left is the short boat ramp. The right lane extends much further into the water.
- Crane Prairie Resort and Marina are open through the end of September.
- Browns Mountain boating access has a shallow slope with four-inch gaps between concrete planks. The location on the reservoir provides for calmer water and is a great place for paddlers to explore.
- Quinn River boat launch open. The ramp has a shallow slope, and the asphalt approach is damaged and breaking apart. Paddlers can launch from the side and paddle up to the head of Quinn River or into the Ghost Forest on the reservoir. This area is very popular with anglers.
- Cow Meadow is closed for the season.
Crescent Lake
- UPDATE: Crescent Lake Campground is open, and the low-water launch is available. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels. The reservoir is 7% full.
- UPDATE: The Spring Campground and boat launch is closed for the season.
Cultus Lake
- Big Cove, West Cultus, and Little Cove Boat-In Campgrounds and Cultus Lake Campground are closed for the season.
- Cultus Lake Day Use and boating site is open.
- Cultus Lake Campground, Resort and Marina are closed.
Davis Lake
- East Davis Lake campground and boat launch is closed.
Deadhorse Lake
- Deadhorse Lake Campground and the ramp are open. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
Deschutes River
- UPDATE: The Cow Meadow Campground and boating access site are closed for the season
- Heritage Landing is open year-round.
- Tenino boat launch is open year-round.
- Bull Bend boating access site and campground are open. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
- Wyeth Boating Site is open.
Detroit Lake
- Kane's Marina, Cove Creek, Hoover, Southshore are closed for the season.
- Mongold main boat ramps are closed for the season. All docks are out of the water. Low water boat ramp is open. Paddlecraft may still carry down the closed ramps.
- Detroit State Campground is open year-round. F-moorage and H-moorage are closed for the season. The G Loop ramp is out of the water.
Dexter Reservoir
- Lowell and Dexter State Park boat ramps are open year-round, and water is approximately eight feet above the bottom of the ramps.
Diamond Lake
- Diamond Lake and Broken Arrow Campgrounds (all loops) are closed. Thielson View and South Shore are open.
Dorena Reservoir
- Baker Bay boat ramp is closed for the season. Marina Closes October 2nd.
- The water at Harms Park is approximately ten feet below the boat ramp. Paddlers can carry down to launch. This park is a minimally developed day-use area which includes a boat ramp, paved parking area, and vault toilet. It is limited by seasonal water levels.
Dog Lake
- Dog Lake Campground and boat launch are open year-round.
Duncan Reservoir
- Duncan Reservoir Campground, located near Silver Lake off Highway 31, is scheduled to be open until the end of September. This is a great location for paddling.
East Lake
- UPDATE: East Lake and Cinder Hill Campgrounds are closed.
- Hot Springs boat ramp is open.
Eel Lake
- William M. Tugman State Park boat launch and kayak launch are open year-round.
Elk Lake (Deschutes County)
- UPDATE: Little Fawn Campground is closed. However, the boat ramp is open, depending on weather and water levels. There is limited parking and maneuvering area for a boat trailer. This is a great location for paddlecraft to launch.
- UPDATE: Elk Lake campground, day use and small boat ramp is closed.
- Point Campground boat ramp is closed for the season.
- Elk Lake Resort and Marina are closed for the season.
Emigrant Lake
- Both North and West boat ramps are closed.
Estacada Lake
- Estacada Lake Launch (Milo McIver State Park) is open year-round. The boarding docks were repaired. Paddlers are asked to not stage on the boarding docks. Please do not park in the boat ramp maneuver area. Be courteous and patient with others when launching.
- Timber Park's nonmotorized boat launch is open.
Fall Creek Reservoir
- North Shore boat access is shallow, but you can drive to water's edge. Paddlecraft can launch, not recommended for motorized boat launching.
- Winberry and Cascara Boat Ramps are out of the water and terrain is steep. Docks are all out of the water. Not available for launch.
Faraday Lake
- The lake, park and surrounding areas are closed for construction. Parking near the bridge and access to all areas across the bridge (Southeast of the Clackamas River) are closed. The area is anticipated to be reopened in 2024. Faraday Lake (portlandgeneral.com)
Fern Ridge Reservoir
- Perkins Peninsula Park is closed for the season.
- Richardson Park Marina is closed for the season.
- Orchard Point Marina is open. There is approximately six feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp. The pumpout and dump station are online. The marina will close October 2nd.
- Fern Ridge Shores has approximately three feet of water at the bottom of the ramp. This access is scheduled to close in September, depending on weather and water levels.
Foster Reservoir
- NEW: The gate at Lewis Creek County Park is now closed. The gate will reopen next May. You can still access the park by walking in.
- UPDATE: Calkins Park and Gedney Creek Boat Ramps are closed due to low water levels. Launching is not permitted
- Sunnyside Boat ramp access is scheduled to close in October. The water is approximately ten feet over the end of the ramp.
Fourmile Lake
- The reservoir is approximately 10% full. Fourmile Lake Campground and boat ramp are open. This access is scheduled to close in September, depending on weather and water levels.
Galesville Reservoir
- Chief Miwaleta ramp is open.
Garrison Lake (Port Orford)
- 12th Street boat ramp and docks are open. Pinehurst gravel ramp is open. This is a great access site for paddlecraft to explore the lake.
Gold Lake
- The Gold Lake Campground is open. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels. Small boats and paddlecraft are recommended.
Green Peter Reservoir
- All boat ramps are closed for the season.
Green Point Reservoir/ Kingsley Reservoir
- Kingsley Campground and boat ramp are open. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
Haystack Reservoir
- UPDATE: The West Shore and Crooked River Campground boating access sites are open. The reservoir is 100% full. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
Heart Lake
- Heart Lake Landing is open and accessible. This access is scheduled to close in September, depending on weather and water levels.
Hells Canyon Reservoir
- Copperfield boat launch open.
Henry Hagg Lake
- UPDATE: Ramp A has 34 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
- UPDATE: Ramp C has 24 feet of water over the end of the ramp.
- Hagg Lake is open year-round.
Hills Creek Reservoir
- Packard Creek Campground is closed for the season. The Day Use Boat Ramp is open year-round.
- Bingham Boat Launch is a small, day-use-only launch at the south end of the Hills Creek Reservoir, open year-round. The water is approximately 45 feet below the bottom of the ramp. Please note that this ramp requires higher water levels to be accessible by boats. The nearby Packard Creek boat ramp is open year-round.
- CT Beach is open year-round. The water level is 32 feet below the bottom of the ramp. This is a nice location for paddlers to carry down.
Holbrook Reservoir
- ADVISORY: The Fremont-Winema National Forest recommends Caution – toxic algae may be present, and the lake may be unsafe for people and pets. Follow caution sign instructions posted on site.
Hosmer Lake
- Hosmer Lake boat ramp is open. There is limited parking, please be mindful that other boaters will also want to use the parking area.
Howard Prairie Reservoir
- Howard Prairie is 34% full. Boaters can launch from the dirt launch near the dam.
Hyatt Lake
- UPDATE: The lake is approximately 40% full. Wildcat Campground is open and has a small undeveloped boat ramp. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
- Mountain View Boat Ramp is closed for the season.
Illinois River
Kingsley Reservoir/Green Point Reservoir
- Kingsley Campground and boat ramp are open. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
Lake Billy Chinook
- UPDATE: Cove Palisades Resort and Marina is scheduled to close October 1st.
- Lake levels will be 2 feet lower this winter than last. Lower water levels can affect access.
- Perry South Day Use is open.Elodea, an aquatic weed, is growing at the Perry South Day Use launch area and may interfere with boating. Remember to Clean, Drain, Dry.
- Crooked River Day Use and Upper Deschutes Day Use boat ramps are open year-round.
Lake Ewauna
Lake Harriet
- Lake Harriet Campground and Day Use area are open year-round. Inaccessible in winter due to snow.
Lake of the Woods
- UPDATE: Aspen Point, Sunset Campground, and Rainbow Bay boating access sites are closed for the season.
- Lake of the Woods Resort is open year-round.
Lake Owyhee Reservoir
- UPDATE: Gordon Gulch boat ramp is open year-round. There is currently approximately 26 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
- UPDATE: Indian Creek boat ramp is open, water level permitting. There is currently approximately 42 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
- UPDATE: Leslie Gulch boat ramp is open with water three feet below the bottom of the boat ramp.
- McCormack boat ramp is closed for the season.
Lake Simtustus
- Pelton Park Marina and Boat Launch are closed for the season.
Lava Lake
- Lava Lake campground, boating access, and docks are open. About two feet below the water, and halfway across the boat ramp, there is a large broken concrete area with a drop of a few inches before the concrete planks. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
- Lava Lake Resort and Marina are open. There is a small primitive ramp through the reeds, where paddlecraft can launch.
Laurance Lake
- The East and West boat launches are scheduled to be open until October 1st. This is a great place to go paddling and try kayak fishing. If Trillium and Lost Lake are busy, consider this as a great alternative. Laurance Lake Road is rough at Eliot Creek. High clearance vehicles only – no trailers.
Little Cultus Lake
- Little Cultus Campground is closed for the season.
Little Lava Lake
- Little Lava Lake Campground and boat launch are scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels. This gravel launch and small parking area are great for paddlecraft and small boats.
Lofton Reservoir
Lookout Point Reservoir
- All boat ramps closed for the season.
Loon Lake
- Loon Lake Recreation Site is open through September 30th. The East Shore Day Use Area is open year-round. Paddlecraft can carry down from the Day Use Area.
Lost Creek Reservoir
- Joseph Stewart Resort and Marina are closed for the season.
- Takelma has approximately 58 feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp. This boat ramp is open year-round.
Lost Lake (Hood River)
- Lost Lake boat ramp in the day-use area is open. This popular paddling lake is fun to explore with great views.
- Lost Lake Resort is open.
Luckiamute River
- Luckiamute Landing is open year-round.
McKenzie River
- Frissell, Paradise Campground and boat ramp, Bruckart Landing, and the McKenzie Bridge boating access sites are closed due to the Lookout Fire. fseprd1130130.pdf (usda.gov)
- Hamlin, Forest Glen, Finn Rock, Helfrich Landing, Goodpasture, Greenwood Landing, Leaburg Landing, Deerhorn Landing, Hendricks Bridge, Bellinger Landing, Hayden Bridge, and Armitage are all open.
- Silver Creek Boat Launch is open. Returning visitors will see a number of changes due to the effects of the wildfires of 2020. The concrete boat ramp is open for use but the Watchable Wildlife site, interpretive panels and footbridge crossing Silver Creek are no longer present. Areas outside of the paved parking lot have not been repaired. The site has been brought into minimal safe condition to support use as a boat launch, its primary purpose. - Ben and Kay Dorris State Park's single boat ramp is open year-round. The park only has a restroom, road, and limited parking, due to the Holiday Fire.
Mercer Lake
- Mercer Lake Landing is open.
Middle Fork Willamette River
- The Middle Fork boat ramp near the Dexter Dam is closed through the summer of 2026. The exact construction completion date is currently unknown. The closure is for the Dexter Fish Facility Upgrade.
- Pengra Access ramp is open.
Millicoma River
- Doris Place and Rooke-Higgins ramps are open.
Miller Lake
- Digit Point campground and boat launch are open. Water system shutdown expected late September. The road typically closes during winter due to snow. For current conditions, contact the Chemult Ranger District. Fremont-Winema National Forest - Offices (usda.gov)
- The Gideon Day Use site is open. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
Morgan Lake
- Morgan Lake boating access is open. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
Munsel Lake
- Munsel Lake boating access is open.
Neawana Creek
- Broadway Park boating access is open.
Necanicum River
- Quatat Marine Park and Cartwright Park boating access sites in Seaside are open.
Nehalem River
- Wheeler boat ramp is open. Docks are accessible, however there is gangway damage. The City plans to remove and repair the gangway at the beginning of November.
North Fork Reservoir
- North Fork Lower Launch and Promontory Park Marina launches are scheduled to be open until October 29th; however, launches may be temporarily closed for aerial firefighting efforts without notice. Parks & Campgrounds (portlandgeneral.com) Elodea, an aquatic weed, is growing at the launch area. Remember to Clean, Drain, and Dry your boat and throw away any visible weeds at the site before transit. Ensure the drain plug is also removed to allow water to drain. Contact marina for hours 503-630-5152.
North Santiam River
- NEW: The Marion County Soil & Water Conservation District will be holding Salmon Watch Days at Packsaddle Park.
- September 25th-29th.

- Greens Bridge access is closed. Anglers who wish to launch or retrieve from this site must apply for a key by calling the local ODFW office at 541-757-4186 and provide your fishing license number.
- Greens Bridge to Jefferson is dangerous. Jefferson Fire District recommends staying off this section of the river. There are strainers, strong currents, cold water, undercurrents/whirlpools, and low-head dams. Please plan ahead. Boating Obstruction Reporting Tools (arcgis.com)
- Buell Miller Boat Ramp is open year-round.
- Fishermen's Bend Recreation Site has limited day use; however, no camping or dump station is available.
- Lyons-Mehama and Stayton Bridge boat ramps are open year-round.
North Twin Lake
- The campground and boating access are open. This rustic site is a great location for paddlers to explore. If you are looking for more amenities, travel a little farther to South Twin Lake. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
North Umpqua River
- Bogus Creek raft launch is closed from the Archie Creek fire. The U.S. Forest Service is working on plans to rebuild the boating access.
Ochoco Lake
- UPDATE: The reservoir is 34% full. The boat launch is open. Water is too low for trailered launch. Paddlers can carry down.
Odell Lake
- Princess Creek, Trapper Creek, and Sunset Cove boat launches are open. These access sites are scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
Olalla Reservoir (near Toledo)
- The boat launch is closed for the season.
Olallie Lake (Mt. Hood National Forest)
- Olallie Lake Day Use and boat ramp are scheduled to close in September.
Pacific Ocean
Paulina Lake
- UPDATE: Paulina Lake campground and day use are closed.
- Little Crater campground and day use are scheduled to be open until October 1st.
Phillips Reservoir
- Reservoir is 32% full. Union Creek boat ramp and Mason boat ramp are open. These access sites are scheduled to close in September, depending on weather and water levels.
- Social Security Point is open, and paddlers can carry down. If you have high clearance vehicle, you can launch off the beach area.
- Black Mountain Road (aka Southwest Shore) is open. Paddlers or small boats can launch from the rustic gravel ramp. This access is scheduled to close in September, depending on weather and water levels.
Pilcher Creek Reservoir
- Pilcher Creek ramp is open, but the docks have been removed. Trailered launching is not recommended due to low water.
Plat I Reservoir
Prineville Reservoir
- UPDATE: Jasper Point is open with nine feet of water at the end of the ramp. The docks are currently pulled up to do some needed repairs. This access closes October 1st.
- UPDATE: The floating restroom is in the water and the reservoir is 62% full.
- UPDATE: Powderhouse Cove ramp is open, water is two feet over the end of the ramp.
- UPDATE: Prineville State Park Day Use is open year-round and currently has 21 feet of water over the end of the ramp. The moorage dock is available. Due to drought conditions, water will not be turned on. Vault or portable restrooms are available. Please plan ahead and bring your own water.
Rogue River
- Access at Argo Recreation Site is closed until further notice due to the Rum Creek Fire. The road is closed just past Alameda Campground to the Grave Creek Bridge.
- Access to Grave Creek boat launch is accessible via Lower Grave Creek Rd.
- TouVelle and Valley of the Rogue State Parks are open year-round.
- Casey, Shady Cove, Rogue Elk, Dodge Bridge, Dees Landing (Coyote Evans Wayside), Pierce Riffle, Chinook Park, Baker Park, Lathrop Landing, Riverside Park, Matson, Griffin Park, Ferry Hole, Robertson Bridge, Hog Creek, Indian Mary, Ennis Riffle, Galice, Rand and Almeda boating access is open.
Scott Lake

Siuslaw River
- Bender Landing, Deadwood, Farnham, Mapleton, Schindler, Tiernan, Konnie Memorial, Tide County Parks and Linslaw are open.
- Port of Siuslaw boat ramp is open and boom logs have been removed for the season.
- The floating restroom is installed.
Skipanon River
- Warrenton Marina is open.
Smith Reservoir
- The campground and launch will remain closed until 2026 as part of EWEB's work to retrofit, refurbish and upgrade equipment at the Carmen-Smith Hydroelectric facility. The McKenzie River Trail and associated trailheads will remain open throughout the reconstruction period, wildfire closures permitting.
Snake River
- Nyssa boat ramp and docks are open. There are large voids between the boat ramp concrete planks. Use caution when launching and retrieving.
- Hells Canyon Creek boat launch is open.
- Dug Bar and Pittsburg Landing Campground are open year-round.
South Santiam River
- Waterloo County Boat Ramp is open. Loop B is closed for the season. Loop A will remain open but will be winterized as of October 29th.
South Twin Lake
- West South Twin Lake boat ramp is out of the water, but paddlers can carry down. There is still lots of water to explore. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
- South Twin Lake resort and marina are closed.
- South Twin Lake campground and boat launch are open. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
Sparks Lake
- Sparks Lake boat ramp and day use are open; however, the water is very low and paddlers may scrape along the trail trying to get to deeper water. The road to Sparks Lake is recommended for high clearance vehicles. There are potholes the entire length of the roadway.
Spring Creek
- Collier Memorial Park is open for day use year-round.
- Spring Creek Day Use is open year-round.
Suttle Lake
- UPDATE: Blue Bay campground is closed for the season.
- UPDATE: South Shore is closed for the season.
- Link Creek campground and Suttle Lake Boating Access sites are open. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
Tahkenitch Lake
- Tahkenitch Day Use and Campground are scheduled to close in September, depending on weather and water levels.
Tenmile Lake
- Tenmile County Ramp is open.
Thief Valley Reservoir
- Thief Valley Reservoir is 7% full, and the boat ramp is open, but the docks are out of the water and launching is unadvisable due to low water.
Thompson Reservoir
- UPDATE: Eastbay Campground and Thompson Reservoir Campground boat ramps are open. Anticipated winter shutdown of water system the week of September 25th.
Three Creeks Lake
- UPDATE: Three Creeks Lake Campground is closed for the season.
Tillamook Bay
- All Port of Garibaldi facilities are open, and both of the floating restrooms are installed.
Timothy Lake
- Stone Creek, Oak Fork, Gone Creek, and North Arm are closed for the season.

Todd Lake
- The road out to Todd Lake paddle access is rough. High clearance vehicles are recommended.
Trail Bridge Reservoir

- The Stark boat ramp is open. Due to low water levels, trailered launching is not advised. Paddlecraft can be carried down from the street. The gate is open from 8:00am-8:00pm.
Turner Lake
- North Turner Lake boat ramp is open.
Umpqua River
- Bumble Bee and Rainbow Plaza boat launches are open.
- Salmon Harbor Marina is open and pumpout and dump station are operational.
- Scottsburg Park ramp is open.
Upper Klamath Lake
- The floating restroom is installed near Bare Island.
- Odessa campground is open. This access is scheduled to close in October, depending on weather and water levels.
- Rocky Point Boat Launch ramps and docks are open year-round with reduced services in the off season.
- Wocus Bay ramp and docks are open year-round.
Unity Reservoir
- UPDATE: The State Park Day Use boat ramp is open year-round. Currently there isfour [JB1] feet of water over the bottom of the boat ramp.
Vee Lake
- Vee Lake boat launch is open year-round with reduced services in the off season. This is a great place for small boats and paddlecraft.
Waldo Lake
- UPDATE: Shadow Bay boating access is closed for the season.
Wallowa Lake
- Wallowa County Park is open.
- Wallowa Lake State Park is open year-round.
Warm Springs Reservoir
- UPDATE: The boat ramp is open year-round with approximately five feet of water currently over the bottom of the boat ramp.
Wickiup Reservoir
- UPDATE: North Wickiup dock is not installed because the transition plate was stolen. The reservoir is 14% full.
Lower Willamette (Columbia River to Willamette Falls)
- Jon Storm Park's pumpout and dump station are in service. The dock and restrooms are open, but the parking lot will be closed until completion of the I-205 bridge widening project.
- Sportcraft Landing, the boat ramp, boarding docks and lower parking area are open. The ODOT bridge contractor is working, so watch for barges and work boats in the area.
Middle Willamette (Willamette Falls to Salem)
- Rogers Landing boating access site. Paddlers are encouraged to use the beach area at the end of the access road. This area is near the single car parking area and restroom.
- Champoeg State Park paddle launch dock is bent. The dock is still open for use.
- Hebb Park Ramp is open year-round.
Upper Willamette (Salem to Eugene)
- Water is very low at Harrisburg Landing and is not recommended for motorized boat launch. There are fallen trees at River Mile 165 which make the area difficult to navigate.
- Buena Vista County Park is closed through October 31st for construction. All launching and retrieving is prohibited during this time. - Willamette Park in Corvallis (Crystal Lake) boat ramp is open. The docks are scheduled to be removed at the end of October.
- McCartney Boat Ramp is open year-round.
- Peoria Park Boat Ramp is open year-round. Significant organic matter in the access channel makes motorized boating inadvisable.
Willamette River - Coast Fork
- The Highway 58 bridge at Dilley Lane is part of the larger Lower Salt Creek Bridge project for seismic retrofits and scour protection. The boating access will be closed during construction. The Federal Highway Administration is working with the contractor for an anticipated schedule. Willamette River – Middle Fork
- The Middle Fork boat ramp near the Dexter Dam is closed through the summer of 2026. The exact construction completion date is currently unknown. The closure is for the Dexter Fish Facility Upgrade.
Willamette River – North Fork of the Middle Fork
- The Westfir take-out, also known as Turtle Island Park, is open for the season.
Willow Creek Reservoir
- Willow Creek Campground and ramp are open year-round with reduced services in the off season.
Withers Lake
Woahink Lake
- Both lanes of East Woahink Lake boat ramp are open year-round. Boat launch will be closed on September 29th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and September 30th from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM for a cross country running event being held at East Woahink Day Use area.
Wolf Creek Reservoir
- Wolf Creek boating access is open, but the docks are out of the water. Launching is possible, but water levels are very low.
Wood River
- Wood River Day Use area is open year-round with reduced services during the off season. There is carry-down paddle access.
Yaquina Bay
- Port of Newport boating sites are open, and docks are floating. Check with Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay for bar conditions prior to launching. District Thirteen (uscg.mil)
