Oregon Savings Growth Plan (OSGP) Program Manager Roger Smith and PERS Member Engagement
and Communications Director Dean Carson were
recently
featured on “Revamping Retirement,” a podcast from Cammack Retirement Group. Smith and Carson spoke with
Cammack Retirement Vice President Mike Webb about PERS Expo 2019, PERS’ annual retirement education and planning
event.
In the podcast, Smith and Carson discussed the background and success of PERS Expo, which
aims to help all Oregon public employees — from new hires to retirees — learn about their benefits in a fun and
educational space. PERS and OSGP
recently won their third consecutive Leadership Award for the
Expo from the National Association of Government Defined Contribution Administrators Inc. (NAGDCA), which recognizes
“the brightest ideas and most innovative solutions” in helping public employees save more for retirement.
PERS 2019 Expo will occur on October
9 at the Salem Convention Center.
