New Board Executive Director
In January, 2008, the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists appointed Becky Eklund as the Executive Director of the agency. Becky comes to us with nearly 20 years of state government experience. Her work in Oregon includes directing statewide youth programs, agency financial and budget management, and citizen advocacy in the Governor's Office. She has worked in Washington State government with the Department of Social & Health Services and the Washington State Legislature. She graduated from The Evergreen State College.

She brings vast knowledge of state procedures and regulations, statewide program direction, administration and financial management, and long-time positive relationships with other agencies at the state and local levels across the State of Oregon. She comes highly recommended by former colleagues and others in state government and has demonstrated a passion and commitment to her work since taking office.
